Leadership does not begin with a rank. It begins with the willingness to step beyond what is familiar, face challenges, and commit to becoming better than who you were before. The Cadet Officer Candidacy Course (COCC) challenges cadets to discover their capacity for growth while preparing them for the responsibilities of leadership and service.

Growth often comes at the cost of comfort. The Cadet Officer Candidacy Course (COCC) demands time, discipline, and sacrifice, but these challenges become opportunities to develop the character, resilience, and commitment expected of those who aspire to lead.

For C/CPT LANCE ANDREI R DIMOC 2CL, COCC became an experience that strengthened his resilience and taught him that true strength lies not only in enduring hardship, but in choosing to continue despite discomfort. To those considering the same path, he encourages aspiring candidates to enter COCC not simply with the goal of becoming an officer, but with the willingness to learn, be tested, serve, and become better than the person they were when they started.

Tahakin and landas ng iilan at sagutin ang tawag ng tungkulin.

Tanggapin ang hamon at huwag palampasin ang pagkakataong tahakin ang landas na iilan lamang ang tumatahak. Ang susunod na kabanata ng iyong paglalakbay sa pamumuno ay magsisimula sa isang desisyon na sumulong. Ang pagiging pinuno ay hindi tungkol sa pag-alam sa lahat, kundi ang pagiging pagkamausisa at pagpatuloy sa kabila ng kawalan ng katiyakan. Ang paglago ay bihirang matagpuan sa ginhawa; ito ay nabuo sa mga sandali ng kawalan ng katiyakan, tiyaga, at katapangan.

Nagbubukas ang aplikasyon ng Cadet Officer Candidacy Course (COCC) ngayong ika-23 ng Agosto 2026 para sa mga kadeteng nagtapos ng Military Science 2 (MS2) ng Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) sa De La Salle University (DLSU) Manila.
