WELCOME TO THE PHILIPPINES, ROYAL THAI ARMY!
The Philippine Army, through the Civil-Military Operations Regiment (CMOR), warmly welcomes the Royal Thai Army Delegation for the PAโ€“RTA Civil Affairs Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE).
BGEN Marces T. Gayat, Regiment Commander, CMOR, PA, and MGEN Punnaprong Choowassawattapat, Head of the Royal Thai Army Delegation, graced the engagement, which provided a venue for both armies to exchange CMO knowledge, capabilities, and best practices, particularly in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR), while strengthening professional cooperation and interoperability.

LOOK // The 3rd Civil-Military Operations (Tinig-Bayan) Company, through 1st Lt. Noemi M. Mendez, Commanding Officer, conducted the Community Information Awareness and Approach Program (CIAAP) in Brgy. Malaban, Biรฑan City, Laguna.
Participants actively engaged in the discussion, gaining insights into the West Philippine Sea, responsible information sharing, and active community participation. The activity also promoted awareness of insurgency and encouraged critical and discerning thinking, particularly among the youth, while emphasizing the role of community members in guiding their children to become responsible individuals and prevent them from being deceived or recruited by groups that threaten peace and security.

TRUTHFUL TUESDAY | As part of the militaryโ€™s intensified information awareness campaign, the 1st CMO Company, 2nd Civil-Military Operations Battalion, Civil-Military Operations Regiment, Philippine Army, conducted information awareness campaign in various colleges and universities across Mindoro Island.
The campaign aims to provide students with relevant, factual, and evidence-based information on issues affecting national security, including the Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs) deceptive recruitment and the West Philippine Sea (WPS) awareness about territorial integrity.
Through meaningful engagements and sustained collaboration with academic institutions, the Exemplar Troopers reaffirm their commitment to empower the youth with knowledge, strengthen their awareness of national security concerns, and fostering a safe and secure learning environment.

NCRCOM, SA PAMAMAGITAN NG 12TH CMO BATTALION, NAGSAGAWA NG RESCUE AT EVACUATION OPERATIONS SA GITNA NG HABAGAT

KAMPO HENERAL EMILIO AGUINALDO, QUEZON CITY โ€” Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na humanitarian assistance and disaster response operations ng National Capital Region Command (NCRCOM), agarang nagsagawa ang 12th Civil-Military Operations Battalion (12CMOBn) ng rescue, evacuation, at relief operations sa mga komunidad na naapektuhan ng pagbaha sa Marikina at Caloocan City noong ika-29 ng Agosto 2026.

Sa Barangay 176-A, Bagong Silang, Caloocan City, nagsagawa ang mga tauhan ng monitoring at assessment sa mga lugar na naapektuhan ng biglaang pagbaha. Umabot sa 74 na pamilya o 296 na indibidwal ang paunang inilikas sa ligtas na lugar sa Phase 4.

Patuloy ding nakipag-ugnayan ang yunit sa pamahalaang barangay upang matiyak ang ligtas at maayos na paglikas ng iba pang residenteng nanganganib dahil sa posibleng patuloy na pagtaas ng tubig.

Sa Barangay 176-B, nagsagawa naman ang mga tauhan, katuwang ang Barangay Task Force, ng rescue at evacuation operations. Tinulungan nilang makalikas ang mga residente mula sa kanilang mga tahanan at makapunta sa mga itinakdang ligtas na lugar. Nagbigay rin sila ng gabay hinggil sa wastong pamamaraan ng paglikas upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng mga apektadong pamilya.

Samantala, nagsagawa rin ang 12CMOBn ng rescue at evacuation operations sa Barangay Malanday, Marikina City. Katuwang ang mga opisyal at responder ng barangay, tinulungan ng mga tauhan ang mga residenteng makalikas patungo sa Malanday Elementary School at iba pang evacuation center.

Bilang bahagi ng relief assistance, tumulong din ang mga tauhan sa pamamahagi ng pagkain at 3,000 bote ng mineral water sa mga pamilyang pansamantalang nanunuluyan sa Malanday Elementary School.

Nananatiling nakaantabay ang NCRCOM at mga yunit nito at patuloy na nakikipag-ugnayan sa mga lokal na pamahalaan at iba pang katuwang na ahensiya. Patuloy din ang pagmamanman sa mga lugar na binaha, pagtataya sa antas ng tubig, at paghahanda para sa posibleng karagdagang rescue, evacuation, at relief operations sa Metro Manila.

Sa harap ng masamang panahon, nananatiling handa ang NCRCOM, katuwang ang 12th CMO Battalion, sa pagtiyak sa kaligtasan at agarang pagtugon sa pangangailangan ng mga apektadong mamamayan.

IN PHOTOS | Kapatiran Troops Support Flood Response in Sto. Niรฑo, Marikina

Personnel of the 12th Civil-Military Operations Battalion (12CMOBn), through its 2nd CMO Company, under the operational control of the National Capital Region Command (NCRCOM), AFP, supported local Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) and rescue efforts in Barangay Sto. Niรฑo, Marikina City, on the night of 29 August 2026.

Earlier in the day, Kapatiran troops coordinated with the Marikina City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MCDRRMO) and Barangay Sto. Niรฑo to monitor the situation and prepare to augment humanitarian assistance requirements as needed.

Later that evening, the CMO Rescue Team, working alongside barangay officials and tanods, responded to Ayungin Street and assisted affected residents in moving to safer areas.

The operation highlights the importance of close coordination with civilian authorities, with Kapatiran troops providing timely support to LGU and barangay-led disaster-response efforts.
