TW: Death Threats, Red-tagging, and R*pe

Following a video posted by the League of Filipino Students FEU, which aimed to discuss political stances, our candidate was targeted with red-tagging, vile r*pe attacks, and explicit death threats.

Let this be clear: no political discussion or expression of stance can ever justify this kind of response. What should have remained within the bounds of discourse was instead twisted into harassment, intimidation, and outright violence.

We will not downplay or tolerate the attacks being thrown at one of our candidates. Anyone who thinks this is acceptable behavior has no place hiding behind the language of β€œfreedom of expression.” Leadership demands criticism but it does not give anyone the power to bully, harass, or weaponize platforms for unnecessary public attacks.

This is not what the FEU community stands for. Not now. Not ever. No leader should have to fear for their safety just for stepping forward.

We will be escalating this to the proper offices and pursuing accountability to the fullest extent.

Enough is enough. HANDS OFF OUR CANDIDATE.
