To all the supporters and volunteers who offered their time and energy to our cause and ideals, the Damayan Partylist will forever be indebted to you. No words can really express our gratitude.
We offer our sincerest thank you and appreciate all your contributions.
Our passion and dream of making our country better by helping our fellow Filipinos can never be truly measured by any count or vote. We may not have won the vote, but we have already won long before the polls.
Knowing that we are not alone in our ideals is victory enough.
It gives us hope and inspires us to become better citizens in our great country. The pendulum has been swung and the momentum has been realized.
Defeat is not the end, it is merely a delay. Let us use this time to reflect on all the things we have learned together; that we may grow as better brothers and sisters for each other.
It is now time for us to unite as a country with one goal: to secure a future that we can all be proud of for the next generation to inherit. No matter how different our beliefs and ideals may be.
Because in our differences, there lies beauty.
In our differences, there lies an opportunity to learn.
In our differences, we reach resolutions that benefit each and everyone.
Be open to discord, be objective, and open to have your opinions reformed. Keep in mind we are all together on the same journey and we affect each other greatly whether you are conscious of it or not. Damay damay yan.
