⚓ Philippine Navy Reservists: Partners of ETTMNIHS in Building a Safe and Conducive Learning Environment

In line with the continuous effort to promote a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for students, Brigada Eskwela Plus was successfully conducted at Emiliano Tria Tirona Memorial National Integrated High School (ETTMNIHS) with the support of approximately 35 volunteers from the Philippine Navy Reserve Force, particularly from the Naval Forces Reserve – NCR (NFR-NCR), 22nd Naval Group Reserve (22nd NGR), and the 223rd Naval Service Support Squadron Reserve (223rd NSSSR).

Embodying the true spirit of bayanihan (community cooperation), the reservists joined forces with the school community to carry out various cleaning, rehabilitation, and beautification activities in preparation for the opening of classes.

Among the accomplished tasks were clearing overgrown grass behind SHS Building 1, preparing and excavating planting areas for the Gulayan sa Paaralan (School Vegetable Garden) program, and repainting SHS Building 1 as well as the ground floor of the Imelda Building.

Through their dedication, teamwork, and voluntary service, the Philippine Navy Reservists helped create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming school environment—ensuring that students and teachers are better prepared for a productive and successful academic year.
