The SBU Library welcomed Virgilio S. Almario, National Artist for Literature, during his visit on April 14, 2026, in celebration of Literature Month. His visit coincided with a talk on creative writing and Filipino literary criticism, organized by the Society of Bedan Literati and Linguists.
