TYPHOON SAFETY REMINDER

When a typhoon threatens our community, preparation and vigilance can save lives. Take the necessary precautions before the weather worsens and always prioritize the safety of your family.

Monitor official weather bulletins and warnings from PAGASA. Prepare enough food, drinking water, medicines, flashlights, batteries, and other essential supplies. Check your home for possible hazards and secure anything that may be blown away by strong winds.

Know the location of the nearest evacuation center and be ready to leave immediately if authorities advise evacuation. During severe weather, remain indoors and keep away from windows and areas that may become unsafe.

Never walk or drive through floodwaters. Stay clear of downed electrical wires, damaged structures, falling debris, and other dangerous areas. Wait for official confirmation before returning to affected locations.

Be prepared. Be vigilant. Protect your loved ones. Stay safe.

Manila Police District, led by PBGEN ATTY. ARNOLD CASINGAL SANTIAGO, RCrim., DPA, District Director, warmly welcomed a delegation of Korean journalists as part of the ASEAN–Korea Journalists Exchange Program.

The courtesy visit served as an opportunity to strengthen media relations, promote a deeper understanding of Philippine law enforcement, and foster stronger people-to-people ties and mutual understanding between the Philippines and the Republic of Korea.

Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso led the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council in an emergency meeting convened following several days of relentless rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon, or “Habagat.”

Also in attendance was PBGEN ATTY. ARNOLD CASINGAL SANTIAGO, RCrim., DPA, District Director of the Manila Police District, who joined city officials and disaster response agencies in assessing the prevailing weather conditions and strengthening disaster preparedness, inter-agency coordination, and response measures to ensure the safety and well-being of Manila residents and the general public.

Blessing and Inauguration of the New NCRPO Regional Headquarters Building was led by PGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ JR, Chief, Philippine National Police, together with PMGEN ANTHONY A ABERIN, Regional Director, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO); PBGEN ATTY. ARNOLD CASINGAL SANTIAGO, RCrim., DPA, District Director, Manila Police District; and other NCRPO officials at Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

The ceremony marks another milestone in strengthening the NCRPO's operational capability and reaffirming its commitment to delivering efficient, responsive, and people-centered police service to the communities of Metro Manila.
