LAKAS NGO is a non-partisan, youth-led organization promoting leadership, volunteerism, civic engagement, and youth participation. Pusong May LAKAS!

We are 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧 (𝐋𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐒), an independent and youth-led organization committed to promoting integrity-driven leadership, active youth participation, and meaningful community service. Ngayong Araw ng mga Bayani, ating kilalanin at bigyang-pugay ang mga taong patuloy na nagsisilbi, tumutulong, at lumalaban para sa kapwa at bayan. Sa loob man ng ospital, paaralan, komunidad, bukid, dagat, o lansangan.

Sapagkat ang kabayanihan ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa malalaking sakripisyo o makasaysayang pangalan. Nakikita rin ito sa mga kamay na patuloy na nagbibigay, sa pusong handang maglingkod, at sa mga taong pinipiling tumindig para sa kapwa.

Sa bawat 𝗣𝗨𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗚 may malasakit at bawat 𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗦 na iniaalay para sa iba, patuloy na nabubuhay ang diwa kabayanihan! 💜🤍🇵🇭

𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗦 𝗡𝗚𝗢 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 2026 💜🤍

Last August 22, 2026, LAKAS NGO conducted its Officership Orientation with all officers of the organization.

The orientation served as an opportunity to strengthen the officers' understanding of the essence of volunteerism and their role in advancing the organization's mission and direction. It also emphasized the guiding principles that shape LAKAS NGO: Bayanihan, Inclusivity, Accountability, Integrity, Sustainability, and Active Citizenship.

Discussions also covered the organization's structure, the roles and responsibilities of its officers, as well as an overview of LAKAS NGO's history and its quarterly accomplishment. Through this orientation, officers were given a clearer understanding of the organization's foundation, collective direction, and the responsibilities that come with serving the community.

As LAKAS NGO moves forward, may its officers continue to lead and serve with purpose, accountability, and a shared commitment to creating meaningful and lasting impact. 💜🤍

Today, we celebrate one of the youngest members of our growing LAKAS family, Wyne!🥳

As a member of our Secretariat and Membership Committee, Wyne brings a bright spirit, helping hand, and infectious energy into every space she enters. Her active presence and fun personality remind us that while the work we do matters, the people we grow and share the journey with matter just as much.

Guided by her advocacy for social inclusion and equity, may you continue creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and included.

May mga pangarap na nagsisimula sa payak na bagay: isang lapis, isang kuwaderno, isang tahimik na panalangin bago matulog.

Para sa isang bata, maaaring ang pangarap ay makapagtapos, magkaroon ng sariling tahanan, o maibigay balang araw sa pamilya ang buhay na matagal nilang hinihintay.

Hindi man natin alam kung saan sila dadalhin ng kanilang mga pangarap, maaari nating piliing maging bahagi ng paglalakbay patungo sa mga ito. At marahil, doon nagsisimula ang pagbabago: sa isang batang minsang nangarap, at sa isang mundong piniling maniwala sa kaniya.
