Under the theme "Building Clean Sport Communities," the Philippine National Anti-Doping Organization (PHI-NADO) successfully launched its inaugural Regional Anti-Doping Education Program (ADEP) in Cebu City from July 31 to August 1. This marks a significant milestone in expanding anti-doping education across the country and reinforces the Philippinesโ€™ commitment to promoting clean sport at the grassroots level.

Over 300 participants gathered for the two-day program, which featured comprehensive discussions on the fundamentals of anti-doping, athletesโ€™ rights and responsibilities, and the doping control process. These essential topics aim to equip athletes, support personnel, and key stakeholders with the knowledge, values, and practical tools needed to make informed and ethical decisions in sport.

Among the key attendees were Philippine Sports Commission Comm. Edward Hayco, Cebu City Sports Commission Chair Dr. Rhoel Dejaรฑo, and PHI-NADO Head Dr. Alejandro Pineda further amplifying efforts to cultivate a shared responsibility in protecting the integrity of sport across the region.

The Philippine Trail Running team are once again hailed as the overall champion of the 2026 Southeast Asia Trail Running Cup in Cianjur, Indonesia.

A showcase of masterclass and dominance against eight other countries, the national team topped the competition with 24 medals - 11 gold, 6 silver, 7 bronze - surpassing their previous output and makes them back-to-back champions.

With the latest victory, our national team is now eyeing for a podium finish for the upcoming Asia-Pacific Trail Running Championships in China.

Our Philippine Womenโ€™s National Lacrosse Team has officially concluded a historic debut at the 2026 World Lacrosse Women's Championship in Tokyo, Japan, capturing their first-ever World Championship win and securing an incredible 10th place finish overall.
