is a non-profit and non-government accredited and licensed childcare agency that cares for abandoned, orphaned, surrendered, and urban poor children and youth through both our residential and community-based programs. Concordia Children's Services was founded in 1983 by Dr. Walt Winters as a child-caring agency for abandoned, surrendered, and neglected children in the Philippines. In 1983, as Conc
ordia grew, it was incorporated to expand its services to the urban poor children in Pasig City by innovating another program, which is the community-based education through sponsorship (EAS) program. By 1996, it was expanded again to serve the needs of the urban poor children in the Sta. Mesa area. For 39 years, Concordia has helped more than 500 orphaned children find their forever families through reunification or adoption. In addition, hundreds of urban poor children are empowered through our education through the sponsorship program.
