As part of the Personnel Engagement Program (PEP) & the Gender and Development (GAD) of the Manila City Council Secretariat under the stewardship of Vice Mayor Chi Atienza, we’ve just conducted our First Quarter Professional Conference hosted by the Legislative Division. We have invited two resource speakers, Dr. Mylene Alegria Genido for the topic - “Breaking Barriers: Addressing Mental Health through a Gender Lens.” and CSC Director Imelda Banzon for the topic - “Institutionalizing Mental Health Support: An Orientation on CSC Wellness Leave.”

Also included in the program were the birthday greetings for the January, February and March celebrators, the sending-off to a retiring colleague, and some team building exercises.

Salute to all our women co-employees! Thank you to our Legislative Division and to everyone who supported this event…

Four-Day Workweek

BREAKING: Nilagdaan ni Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso ang Executive Order No. 8, Series of 2026 na nagtatakda ng apat na araw na workweek (condensed workweek) para sa mga kawani ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Manila.

Sa ilalim ng kautusan, ang oras ng trabaho ay mula Lunes hanggang Huwebes, 7:00 ng umaga hanggang 6:00 ng gabi, at 8:00 ng umaga hanggang 7:00 ng gabi habang walang pasok tuwing Biyernes para sa mga empleyado ng City Hall.

Gayunman, magpapatuloy ang operasyon ng mga tanggapan na nagbibigay ng essential services upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na paghahatid ng serbisyo sa mga Manileño.

Para sa kaalaman ng mga kapwa nating Manilenyo. Bago na po ang schedule ng Regular Session ng ating Sangguniang Panlungsod (City Council). Mula sa dati na tuwing Martes at Huwebes, isasagawa na po ang session tuwing Lunes (ika-10:00 ng umaga) at Miyerkules (ika-2:00 ng hapon).

Patuloy po tayong maging mulat sa mga ordinansa at resolusyung inihahain, binabalangkas, tinatalakay at ipinapasa ng ating panlokal na lehislatura.

Para sa minamahal nating Lungsod ng Maynila.
