| The Bureau of Customs – Port of Limay continues to demonstrate its commitment to revenue generation, recording an actual collection of ₱10.890 Billion for May 2026, inclusive of Tax Credit Certificates (TCC), surpassing its assigned target of ₱8.735 Billion by 24.67%, equivalent to a surplus of ₱2.155 Billion.

Meanwhile, excluding TCC, the Port collected ₱10.350 Billion, still exceeding its revenue target by 18.49% or ₱1.615 Billion. This reflects the Port's sustained efficiency in revenue collection and effective implementation of customs policies and procedures.

This outstanding performance underscores the Port’s continued efforts in enhancing trade facilitation, strengthening customs enforcement, and ensuring efficient revenue collection in support of the government's fiscal objectives.

| During the recent Presidential Communications Office (PCO) press briefing, PCO Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Atty. Claire Castro announced that the Bureau of Customs (BOC) surpassed its revenue target, collecting ₱406.3 billion from January to May 2026.

In line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and under the leadership of Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno, the BOC continues to strengthen revenue collection efforts through improved customs processes, enhanced monitoring, and sustained reforms in support of the country’s economic growth.

BOC UNCOVERS ₱86.7M ABANDONED ONION SHIPMENTS

Customs Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno, together with Senator Francis Kiko PangilinanFrancis and Department of Agriculture Assistant Secretary Willie Ann Angsiy, led the inspection of 26 abandoned containers of fresh red onions from China worth ₱86.684 million, reinforcing the BOC’s drive against illicit agricultural importations and its commitment to protect local farmers, consumers, and legitimate traders.

| The Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Manila, under the leadership of District Collector Rizalino Jose C. Torralba, reported the seizure of ₱7.7 million worth of misdeclared agricultural goods after uncovering thousands of boxes of fresh carrots concealed in shipments declared as assorted food products.

Enforcement Group Deputy Commissioner PBGen Nolasco K. Bathan (Ret.) warned importers and customs brokers against engaging in misdeclaration and other fraudulent importation schemes, stressing that the Bureau will continue to strengthen its campaign against agricultural smuggling to protect government revenues, uphold compliance with import regulations, and safeguard Filipino farmers from unfair market competition.

| The Bureau of Customs – Port of Clark exceeded its assigned revenue collection target for May 2026, collecting Php 492.123 million against a target of Php 480.712 million, resulting in a surplus of Php 11.411 million.

This accomplishment supports the directive of Customs Commissioner Ariel C. Nepomuceno to strengthen lawful revenue collection and facilitate legitimate trade. The Port’s performance was driven by the diligence of Customs Examiners and Appraisers in ensuring the proper valuation and assessment of imported goods, as well as the continued compliance of stakeholders with customs rules and regulations.

District Collector Jairus S. Reyes commended the efforts of Port personnel and stakeholders, emphasizing that every revenue milestone contributes to funding vital government programs and advancing the national development agenda of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
