๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š: On ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ’ ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, Coast Guard Station Manila conducted a ๐“๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฌ ๐ˆ๐ง๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง (๐“๐ˆ&๐„) ๐จ๐ง โ€œ๐‚๐จ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ ๐†๐ฎ๐š๐ซ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ญ๐ญ๐ž๐ซโ€ in coordination with the ๐‚๐จ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ ๐†๐ฎ๐š๐ซ๐ ๐‹๐ž๐ ๐š๐ฅ ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ญ ๐๐‚๐‘-๐‚๐‹, attended by personnel of CGS Manila and its substations.

๐‹๐“ ๐‰๐Ž๐‘๐ƒ๐€๐ ๐…๐€๐‹๐‹๐Ž๐‘๐„ ๐๐‚๐†, ๐Ž๐ˆ๐‚, ๐‚๐†๐‹๐” ๐๐‚๐‘-๐‚๐‹, served as the lecturer and discussed the proper procedures for the preparation, recording, and disposition of Coast Guard Blotter entries, emphasizing accurate documentation, proper recording of reported incidents, and appropriate handling of cases.

A practical exercise was also conducted to reinforce personnelโ€™s skills in the proper preparation and recording of Coast Guard Blotter entries based on actual scenarios.

CGS Manila remains steadfast in strengthening the knowledge and competence of its personnel in the proper documentation and handling of reported incidents, ensuring accurate and efficient blotter procedures in the performance of their duties.

๐ƒ๐‘๐† ๐“๐ž๐š๐ฆ ๐Ÿ conducted clearing operations along the waterways of Barangay Tabing Ilog, Marilao, Bulacan.

Meanwhile, ๐ƒ๐‘๐† ๐“๐ž๐š๐ฆ ๐Ÿ conducted rescue operations in Barangays Abangan Norte and Abangan Sur, Marilao, Bulacan, assisting families affected by flooding. The team successfully rescued and safely evacuated twenty-one (21) individuals from five (5) affected families and transported them to a secure location along MacArthur Highway, Marilao, Bulacan.

Philippine Coast Guard remains steadfast in its commitment to providing timely assistance to affected communities and supporting local government units in disaster response, humanitarian assistance, and other emergency operations, ensuring a prompt, coordinated, and effective response during times of crisis.

Tropical Depression "PILANDOK" issued by PAGASA as of 05:00 PM today, 30 August 2026, hazards affecting coastal waters are still in effect over the Philippine Area of Responsibility. The center of Tropical Depression PILANDOK was estimated based on all available data at 1,180 km East of Extreme Northern Luzon (20.8ยฐN, 133.3ยฐE).

In this regard, movement of all vessels with point of destination, transiting to, or within the affected areas, is hereby SUSPENDED, except to take shelter:

โžค 299 GT and below: The western seaboard of Babuyan Islands; the seaboards of Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and Zambales; the northern seaboard of Babuyan Islands; the western seaboards of Pangasinan and Bataan; the seaboard of Lubang Islands; the western seaboards of northern La Union, Cavite, Batangas, northern Occidental Mindoro, and Kalayaan Islands.

Amid the prolonged moderate to heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), CGS Manila, together with its Sub-Stations, remains on operational readiness to ensure the immediate deployment of personnel and assets for emergency and rescue operations.

CGS Manila continues to closely monitor prevailing weather and maritime conditions within its Area of Responsibility (AOR) while maintaining close coordination with concerned local government units (LGUs), partner agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure a timely, effective, and well-coordinated response to any maritime emergency or weather-related incident.

Coast Guard Station Manila remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding lives, protecting maritime communities, and ensuring public safety. CGS Manila and its Sub-Stations stand ready to respond to any emergency arising from the effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
