SEA TRAVEL ADVISORY As of 05:00 AM, 05 August 2026
In reference to Tropical Cyclone Bulletin Nr. 04, Tropical Cyclone "MAYMAY" issued by PAGASA as of 05:00 AM today, 05 August 2026, Tropical Cyclone wind signals are still in effect over the Philippine Area of Responsibility. The center of Tropical Cyclone MAYMAY was estimated based on all available data at 170 km West of Bacnotan, La Union (17.0ยฐN, 118.8ยฐE).
In this regard, movement of all vessels with point of destination, transiting to, or within the affected areas, is hereby SUSPENDED, except to take shelter:

However, resume anytime when weather/sea conditions are normal, as may be declared by PAGASA pursuant to NHQ-PCG/CG8 Memorandum Circular 02-23 dated 23 March 2023 "Revised Guidelines on Movement of Vessels During Heavy Weather" and NHQ-PCG/CG-8 Memorandum 0224-038 dated 08 February 2024. The seagoing riding public, coastal communities, and fisher folks are advised to refrain from engaging to any sea/weather-related activities to prevent any untoward incident.
