The San Bigkis Party started its humble beginnings 19 years ago. The core of San Bigkis Party is service.

The premier political party of San Beda University - Manila, upholding 29 years of Socio-Liberal ideals, Genuine Progressivism, Principled Leadership, and a commitment to Independent Authority.

โšก๏ธ๐Ÿงก Since then, the party has evolved, improved, and through the years, perfected the art of molding young students of San Beda College to be members of the elite few who shall stand

as the gate leaders and forerunners of the school both inside and outside its domain. We mold and train potential leaders to serve their fellow men, the backbone of which a great institution must be built on - to serve, protect, and improve the greater vision that is the genuine article of being a Bedan. The San Bigkis Party has been at the forefront of student leader development in San Beda College. Magnified by the passion to learn and encompass the greater meaning for being its core member, SBP has a vision for every Bedan - never forgotten and never left alone. The line of members and its alumni still hold firm in service of the party. Manifested in the true sense of brotherhood, we commit ourselves to safe guard the continued existence of the party and undying support for it to still remain at the apex of what San Beda College could be. At the end of the day, San Bigkis is a family. A family that has proud a legacy, a history so colorful and wonderful, and a great destiny plan for the Bedan community - that which we believe, was foreordained. 1) Consistent Service
Since 1997, San Bigkis Party has been committed in developing credible and praiseworthy Bedan student leaders. The party has never wavered in its commitment to serve the entire community and bring to it the best that it deserves.

2) Untarnished Reputation

From the party's humble beginnings, it has remained faithful to its values and principles. Since then and until now, the party never veered away from the rules of fair play and honest campaign during elections. As a party, much more as a family, we have always remained honest and loyal to the Bedan community in our promise of credibility and integrity.

3) Principled Leadership

San Bigkis Party believes in the principle that leadership is service; service with integrity and credibility. We produce leaders that lead and live through the values of a true Bedan, a true Filipino.

4) Independent Authority

San Bigkis Party does not let society dictate - we uphold independent pronouncements for the Bedan community. We stand for what is right and we offer a service that cannot be folded by numbers.

In light of the recent suspensions of classes and University operations brought about by the prevailing circumstances, we, the San Bigkis Party (SBP) and Ang MITHI, have jointly submitted a Petition to the San Beda Electoral Board seeking an extension of the filing period for Certificates of Candidacy.

The filing period was scheduled from August 27 to 29, 2026. However, during the said period, circumstances beyond the control of prospective candidates arose, including the suspension of face-to-face classes on August 28 and 29, 2026, as officially announced by the Manila Local Government Unit, as well as the subsequent suspension of relevant University operations and classes.

In light of these circumstances, the San Bigkis Party and Ang Mithi requested a reasonable two-day extension of the COC filing period, corresponding to the two-day suspension of face-to-face classes.

We believe that granting such an extension would promote fairness, equal opportunity, accessibility, and meaningful participation in the electoral process, without granting any undue advantage to any particular political party or candidate.

We hope that the San Beda Electoral Board will uphold fairness, accessibility, and the right of every student to participate in the electoral process, especially in these challenging circumstances.

No student should be deprived of their opportunity to run and be represented because of circumstances beyond their control.

The fight for equality continues. The passage of the SOGIE Equality Bill remains a crucial step toward protecting every Filipino from discrimination based on s*xual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.

As we commemorate Pride Month, the San Bigkis Party remains steadfast in its mission of building a San Beda University that is genuinely inclusive, compassionate, and welcoming to all.

We recognize that our institution is rooted in long-standing traditions, yet we believe that fostering a community where every Bedan is treated with dignity, respect, and fairness strengthens, rather than diminishes, our shared values.
