Under the leadership and guidance of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐘 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐏 𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐓𝐎, DSC, Regional Director of BFP National Capital Region, and 𝐅𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐄𝐃𝐃𝐈𝐄 𝐖 𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐍, District Fire Marshal of Manila Fire District (MFD), personnel from San Nicolas,Gagalangin and Malacañang Fire Station successfully conducted the "Emergency Response Plan for Business"(ERPB) initiative at their respective Area of responsibility, Earlier today, August 05, 2026.

This community engagement served as a vital platform for our personnel to directly discuss key fire prevention strategies with businesses owners. By bringing public safety education straight to the community, the team reinforced practical safety practices, hazard identification, and disaster preparedness measures to significantly mitigate fire risks.

04 August 2026 || Raxabago St., Gagalangin, Tondo, Manila

A fire incident broke out today, 04 August 2026, at Raxabago St., Gagalangin, Tondo, Manila. Responding units from the Gagalangin Fire Station under FSINSP RONALD S LIM immediately proceeded to the scene following the initial report at 2109H.

Suppression operations were successfully conducted to control and extinguish the blaze through the joint efforts of the Manila Fire District and volunteer fire brigades. Operations were directed by FSSUPT EDDIE W TANAWAN, District Fire Marshal, under the guidance of BFP NCR Regional Director, FCSUPT ROY RODERICK P AGUTO, DSC.

HYDRANT INSPECTION

To guarantee maximum operational readiness and an unhindered water supply in the event of emergencies, personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) San Lazaro Fire Station conducted a comprehensive Fire Hydrant Inspection across various strategic locations within their Area of Responsibility (AOR)

In line with the leadership and guidance of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐘 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐏 𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐓𝐎, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director of BFP National Capital Region, and the Manila Fire District (MFD), under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐄𝐃𝐃𝐈𝐄 𝐖 𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐍, District Fire Marshal, dedicated personnel from the Paco Fire Station successfully conducted a fire safety lecture and drill at Fil-Star Maritime Corporation, August 4, 2026.

The comprehensive safety activity aimed to equip employees and staff with essential knowledge on workplace fire prevention, early hazard detection, proper handling of fire extinguishers, and orderly evacuation procedures during emergency scenarios. By engaging in practical drills, the participants reinforced their preparedness and swift ex*****on of life-saving protocols.

Medical Response
03 August 2026

In line with the leadership and guidance of FCSUPT ROY RODERICK P AGUTO, DSC, Regional Director, BFP National Capital Region, and the Manila Fire District (MFD), under the leadership of FSSUPT EDDIE W TANAWAN, District Fire Marshal, personnel from EMS San Lazaro swiftly responded to a medical assistance incident regarding a trauma incident on August 3, 2026.
Upon receiving a dispatch call from a concerned citizen relayed via Commel at approximately 1535H, the EMS team immediately deployed to Quiricada St., Sta. Cruz, Manila. Responders performed medical assessment and intervention before safely transporting the patient to Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center.
The EMS San Lazaro team and the Manila Fire District remain steadfast in providing reliable, 24/7 emergency medical services to ensure the safety and well-being of the public.
