As we celebrate Pride Month, ๐ฐ๐ž ๐ก๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ฐ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐›๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐š ๐›๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐œ ๐ก๐ฎ๐ฆ๐š๐ง ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ: ๐ž๐ช๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ข๐›๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ. While significant progress has been achieved through decades of advocacy, many members of the LGBTQIA+ community still face prejudice, gender-based violence, and challenges to equal opportunities and safe spaces.

๐“๐ก๐ž ๐‹๐ž๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ฏ๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฆ ๐ข๐ง ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐œ๐ญ, ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ž. We recognize the importance of challenging systemic discrimination, empowering marginalized voices, and advocating for spaces where diversity is recognized.

Beyond celebration, Pride is a political movement. Enrollment for the First Semester of Academic Year 2026โ€“2027 for Continuing Collegiate Students (2nd to 4th Year) will be from June 15 to July 17, 2026, while opening of classes will be on July 20, 2026.

Last May 14, 2026, our fourth year Political Science students held their send-off party for titled ๐‹๐š๐ค๐›๐š๐ฒ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”: ๐…๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ข๐จ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง-๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง๐ .

The Culmination and Send-off Dinner honored our 4th-year Political Science students for their hard work, dedication, and perseverance especially throughout their internship journey. Above all, the event also celebrated their experiences and friendships they built in their time in the Colegio.

We, The Letran Politicvs, refuse to normalize a government that bends its institutions to protect political allies while ordinary Filipinos continue to suffer from rising prices, failing public services, and a justice system that only seems to work for the powerful.

Democracy was never meant to shield individuals from accountability. Democracy demands truth, transparency, and consequences.

Neutrality is no longer an option when facts are being distorted and justice is being delayed. The Filipino people deserve a government that answers to the law, not one that manipulates institutions to evade it. We demand facts. We demand accountability. We demand a government that serves the people.
