What is Harfeast?
Harfeast is an online commerce platform meant to facilitate the delivery of fruits directly from farmer to consumer. Our platform promotes sustainable agricultural practices by facilitating direct access to consumers and reducing food waste and transportation emissions (SDG 12). The app will be maintained post-implementation by trained community members, supporting local employment and capacity-building (SDG 8 ).
Our Mission:
- Develop a digital platform that directly and easily connects farmers with consumers.
- Ensure fair trade and proper compensation for farmers.
Promote healthy eating habits by making organic produce more accessible to consumers.
