Phitex - Philippine Travel Exchange PHITEX is an annual marketing event that aims to strengthen the country’s brand image organized by the Tourism Promotions Board and Department of Tourism.

The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) is organizing the 13th Philippine Travel Exchange (PHITEX 2014) scheduled on September 02-05, 2014 at the SMX Convention Center, MOA Complex, Pasay City. PHITEX is an annual marketing event that aims to strengthen the country’s brand image and encourages the participants to promote affordable and competitive tourism packages. The theme of this year’s PHITEX is “I

nnovate and Integrate, Empower and Engage.”

The highlight of PHITEX 2014 will be the TRAVEX, where invited Foreign Buyers of tourism products and services will have the opportunity to transact business with qualified Philippine Sellers in one-on-one table top scheduled appointments. The invited Foreign Buyers will also experience the fun and excitement of the multitude of activities during the post tours to key Philippine attractions and destinations. Educational Seminars for interested Sellers will also be conducted on September 03, 2014. PHITEX 2014 is supported by the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA), Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA), Hotel Sales and Marketing Association (HSMA) and Board of Airlines Representative (BAR).
