| In view of the nationwide transport strike scheduled on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, classes across all PUP campuses and academic extension programs in the National Capital Region (NCR) will be held via 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.

Faculty members may determine the appropriate consideration to affected students given the limited transport operations in these areas.

This partnership opens new opportunities for our learners to explore theater, creativity, and the performing arts as powerful avenues for learning, self-expression, and personal growth.

PUPLHS CONDUCTS MENTAL HEALTH SEMINAR

The PUPLHS, in partnership with PUP Gender-Equity, Diversity, and Social Inclusion Office (GEDSIO), conducted the seminar, Bridging the Support Gap: Integrating Home and School Wellness on August 26, 2026 at the Bulwagang Balagtas as part of this year’s PUP Purple University Project.

The seminar served as a learning platform for parents, teachers, and students on how to take care of one’s mental health and overall well-being. Mr. Lorrence Prim, MA, RGC of Philippine Normal University-Manila served as the speaker for both morning and afternoon sessions. His talk explored ways of recognizing stress that are centered on building routines to boost mental well-being. He also emphasized the role of the parents in ensuring that their children maintain healthy habits to cope with and take care of their mental health.

The entire PUPLHS community is grateful to the GEDSI Office for pushing projects that champion the student’s well-being. We also thank Mr. Lorrence Prim for sharing his knowledge and experience. Lastly, we are most grateful to all the parents and guardians who attended the seminar. Your presence in the event affirmed your commitment in safeguarding the children’s welfare. Let us continue to work together for our learners’ wellness!
