TINGNAN: Mabilis na kumikilos ang Department of Public Works and Highways upang agarang maibalik sa ayos ang mga sirang bahagi ng kalsada sa ilang lugar sa Metro Manila.

Sa kasalukuyan, patuloy ang immediate road repairs sa mga apektadong kalsada, kabilang ang San Juan – Santolan Road (cor. P. Guevara – J Vargas Street) at Blumentritt (fronting Petron) sa San Juan City; M.H. Del Pilar St. sa Malabon City; Ayala Blvd sa Manila City; Gil Puyat Ave (Westbound) sa Makati City; East Service Road (fronting Bicutan Market) sa Parañaque City; at R-10 Road sa Navotas City. Dahil sa agaran at tuloy-tuloy na aksyon ng ahensya, unti-unti nang nagiging maayos ang kondisyon ng mga kalsada para sa publiko.

Tuloy-tuloy ang pagtatayo ng DPWH - Metro Manila 3rd District Engineering Office sa bagong 6-storey Academic Building ng Polytechnic University of the Philippines North Caloocan City Campus sa Brgy. 168, Caloocan City.

Ang 2,500-square meters na pasilidad ay maglalaman ng 37 classrooms, auditorium, library, laboratories, at medical/dental offices. Magkakaroon din ito ng roof deck, solar panels, at mga elevator upang isulong ang energy efficiency at inclusivity sa paaralan.

Layunin ng proyekto na suportahan ang pangangailangan ng 1,480 students ng PUP North Caloocan sa mas dekalidad at student-centered na pagkatuto. Sa kasalukuyan, na sa Phase 6 na ang konstruksyon at inaasahang matatapos ito sa September 2026. Habang inaasahan namang matatapos ang buong gusali sa susunod na taon.

Alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na palakasin ang sektor ng edukasyon, patuloy ang DPWH sa pagtatayo ng mga imprastrukturang pang-edukasyon na dekalidad, inklusibo, at tumutugon sa pangangailangan ng mga mag-aaral.

TINGNAN: Tuloy-tuloy ang immediate road repairs ng Department of Public Works and Highways sa mga apektadong kalsada sa Metro Manila.

Kasalukuyang isinasagawa ang agarang pag-aayos sa R-10 Road sa Navotas City; Bonifacio Drive – P. Burgos Intersection, P. Quirino Ave (near West Zamora St.), Mel Lopez Blvd., P. Burgos St. (after Anda St.), Roxas Blvd. – P. Ocampo Intersection, at Capulong St. (cor Velasquez St.) sa Manila City; Senator Miriam P. Defensor-Santiago Avenue (fronting NTC) sa Quezon City; at Boni Avenue Westbound (after Pulog St. and fronting Linecare Dental) sa Mandaluyong City. Layunin ng rehabilitasyon na agarang maibalik sa maayos na kondisyon ang mga daanan para sa kapakanan ng publiko.

Matagumpay na natapos ng DPWH Malabon-Navotas District Engineering Office at Unified Project Management Office (UPMO), ang konstruksyon ng mga floodgate sa Navotas Coastal D**e bilang bahagi ng flood-mitigation program sa Navotas City.

Natapos noong August 23, 2026 ang buong konstruksyon ng Floodgate No. 5 at No. 6, kabilang ang pagsasara ng mga pagitan sa d**e at ang pagkakabit ng mga mechanical component nito. Sa kasalukuyan, ganap nang operasyonal ang dalawang floodgate at epektibong nare-regulate ang daloy ng tubig tuwing high tide at malakas na pag-ulan.

Layunin ng proyekto na mas protektahan ang kaligtasan ng publiko, mga residential at commercial area, at mabawasan ang pinsala sa mga ari-arian at imprastraktura. Patuloy ang DPWH sa pagtataguyod ng pangmatagalang flood resilience at sustainable development sa lungsod ng Navotas.

Kaliwa’t kanan ang agarang pagsasaayos ng mga apektadong kalsada, kabilang ang Mel Lopez Blvd., Lacson Ave (cor España Blvd.), at Lacson Ave. (cor Loyola St.) sa Manila City; Gen. Luna St. sa Malabon City; San Joaquin-Buting Road (before Clapmoto Project), C5 Bagong Ilog Flyover, at C5 Road Northbound (U-turn slot fronting CCF) sa Pasig City: SM Bicutan Annex Bldg. West Service Road sa Parañaque City; Aurora Blvd. Eastbound (after P. Burgos) at Boni Serrano Flyover sa Quezon City. Makakaasa ang publiko na sisikapin ng ahensya na maibalik agad ang maayos na kondisyon ng mga daanan sa bansa.

𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍, 𝐂𝐂𝐌𝐄 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐒! Please be informed that the November 14, 2026 (Saturday) 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬'/𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬' 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐂𝐌𝐄) at Aurora A. Quezon Elementary School has reached its maximum number of examinees for the National Capital Region (NCR).

Accordingly, all CCME examination slots allocated for the NCR are now 𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐋; thus, the DPWH-NCR is no longer accepting additional applications for the upcoming written examination.

Further announcements regarding the examination will be posted through the official DPWH-NCR channels.

𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

The Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH NCR) wishes to clarify recent social media reports regarding roadworks along MacArthur Highway in Valenzuela City.

The road section in question is an existing, heavily used thoroughfare that had developed significant surface damage; it is not a newly completed construction project. Additionally, as a national road project, it falls under the direct jurisdiction of DPWH NCR rather than the local government unit or Office of Mayor Wes Gatchalian.

To keep the route passable and safe for motorists, DPWH initially applied temporary asphalt patching. Because temporary patches naturally deteriorate under heavy traffic, the team is now executing a full rehabilitation. This standard process requires removing the worn surface layer to construct a durable, permanent concrete structure.

DPWH remains committed to maintaining safe, high-quality infrastructure and will publish traffic advisories and work schedules as soon as the project timeline is finalized.

The DPWH - Metro Manila 2nd District Engineering Office informs the public and participating contractors that the schedule for the Dropping and Opening of Bids for the project: Construction of Multi-Purpose Building, ROMVI Barangay Hall Gate 2, Barangay Moonwalk, City of Parañaque, 14.495324791623291, 121.01083417940758, originally set on September 3, 2026, has been 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝.

The cancellation was made due to conflict between ROMVI Home Owner's Association and Barangay Moonwalk regarding the exact location of the project.
