With the aim of fostering love, joy, and hope this Christmas season, Manito National High School conducted a Christmas Lantern (Parol) Making Contest with the theme “Star of Hope: Illuminating Filipino Resilience” on December 12, 2025, at the MNHS Covered Court. The activity was participated in by selected students from all curricula, from Junior High School to Senior High School.
The event was spearheaded and facilitated by the Science Department and generously sponsored by Rev. Fr. Gil R. Mangampo, a retired priest.
The top three winners received cash prizes, while the remaining participants were given consolation prizes. The lanterns crafted by the top three winners were donated to the sponsor after the awarding program.

🎄✨ Spreading Joy Through Gifts and Stories ✨🎄

Today, December 17, 2025, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Manito National High School, together with our dedicated Senior High School teachers, conducted a meaningful gift-giving and storytelling activity at Manumbalay Elementary School, Manumbalay, Manito, Albay.

Filled with smiles, laughter, and stories of hope, the activity reminded us that even the simplest acts of kindness can create great happiness in the hearts of young learners. Seeing the joy and excitement of the pupils truly made this day memorable and fulfilling.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our generous sponsors for their unwavering support and kindness. Your contributions made this initiative possible and enabled us to share love, inspiration, and joy this Christmas season.

𝗠𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗕𝗦𝗣 - 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗙𝗜𝗧 273 in the 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 of the 33𝗿𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮-𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗲. Our Senior Scouts happily witness a once in a lifetime event happening right before them. As they set up camps, share memories, meet new friends and face challenges with a smile, they will find hardship as the road to success.
