52nd Engineer Brigade, TESDA-10 Collaborate on Skills Development

TAGOLOAN, MISAMIS ORIENTAL | 23 September 2026 — The 52nd Engineer (Kaayadan) Brigade, Philippine Army conducted a Workshop of the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the Engineer Construction Competency Program (ECCP) in collaboration with designated personnel from TESDA Region X at the Regional Training Center, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

The workshop brought together personnel with appropriate technical expertise, relevant experience, and institutional knowledge to provide technical assistance and support in the effective development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the ECCP.

The activity formally commenced with a prayer, followed by the introduction and opening of the workshop led by Mr. Mario S. Labisig, Chairman of the TESDA Region X ECCP-TWG.

Subsequently, MAJ DEVO T BUBULI (CE) PA, Chairperson of the Brigade ECCP-TWG, presented the concept and framework of the Engineer Construction Competency Program. The presentation provided the participants with an opportunity to discuss the program's objectives, implementation considerations, and areas requiring technical collaboration.

The activity concluded with an open forum, allowing participants from the 52nd Engineer (Kaayadan) Brigade and TESDA Region X to exchange insights, clarify concerns, and identify opportunities for further coordination toward the successful implementation of the ECCP.

The workshop underscores the continuing commitment of the Philippine Army and TESDA Region X to strengthening technical competencies, promoting professional development, and enhancing the capabilities of personnel engaged in engineering and construction-related activities.

52nd Engineer Brigade Welcomes Senior Army Officers to Camp Natividad

CAMP NATIVIDAD, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon — 22 September 2026 — 52nd Engineer (Kaayadan) Brigade, Philippine Army, welcomed COL ALLAN PETER D RUDIO SC (MNSA) PA, Group Commander, 10th Regional Community Defense Group (10RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army, and MAJ MILDRED V MALALUAN (CE) PA, Chief, Army Recruitment Office Mindanao, during their visit to the Brigade Headquarters at Camp Col Oscar F Natividad, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen coordination and foster closer working relations between the 52nd Engineer Brigade and the visiting Army offices. It also underscored the importance of collaboration in supporting the Philippine Army’s personnel recruitment, reserve force development, and other programs contributing to mission accomplishment.

52nd Engineer Brigade Commander Strengthens Partnership with Bukidnon Provincial Leaders

CAMP NATIVIDAD, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon — September 21, 2026. — BGEN FREDERICK A ANCHETA PA, Commander, 52nd Engineer (Kaayadan) Brigade, Philippine Army, paid a courtesy call to the Governor and Vice Governor of Bukidnon as part of the Brigade’s continuing efforts to strengthen coordination and partnership with the provincial government.

During the engagements, BGEN ANCHETA exchanged views with the provincial leaders on matters concerning the Brigade’s ongoing programs, community engagements, and areas of mutual support in advancing initiatives that benefit the people of Bukidnon.

The courtesy calls also provided an opportunity to reinforce the longstanding partnership between the 52nd Engineer Brigade and the Provincial Government of Bukidnon, particularly in supporting community development, disaster response, and other initiatives aligned with the needs of local communities.

52nd Engineer Brigade Holds Closing Ceremony for ECSOOT Class 06-2026

CAMP Natividad, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon — September 19, 2026. — BGEN FREDERICK A. ANCHETA PA, Commander of the 52nd Engineer (Kaayadan) Brigade, Philippine Army, formally declared the trainees of the Engineer Combat Support Operations Orientation Training (ECSOOT) “KABAGSIK” Class 06-2026 as graduates during the closing ceremony held at the Brigade Covered Court, Camp Col Oscar F. Natividad, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

The declaration marked the successful completion of the training which provided the trainees with essential knowledge and skills in Engineer Combat Support Operations. The activity commenced with a capability demonstration featuring Arnis and Combat Engineer demonstrations, highlighting the trainees’ practical skills and capabilities acquired during the training.

The ceremony commenced with the entrance of the ECSOOT Class 06-2026 trainees, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the invocation led by Chief Master Sergeant Caesar A. Tamesis, Brigade Sergeant Major. MAJ MARTIN L FAMADOR JR (CE) PA, Assistant Chief of Staff for Education and Training, G8, then presented the trainees to the Brigade Commander prior to their formal declaration as graduates.

Following the declaration, certificates and special awards were presented to the deserving graduates. Pvt Raymond E. Sonio (Inf) PA received the Academic Proficiency Award after obtaining the highest academic rating, while Pvt Airyl S. Acorin (Inf) PA was recognized with the Physical Proficiency Award for outstanding physical endurance, strength, and agility. The activity also featured the keynote message of BGEN ANCHETA, the awarding of a Plaque of Appreciation to the Subject Matter Expert, and the presentation of a token of appreciation to the keynote speaker.

The ceremony concluded with the mass singing of the Engineer Song, followed by a photo opportunity involving the command group, guests, brigade staff, training personnel, graduates, and their families.

52nd Engineer Brigade Honors Officers for Years of Dedicated Service

CAMP Natividad, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon — The 52nd Engineer (Kaayadan) Brigade, Philippine Army, honored the dedicated military service of MAJ JANE TARRAH P MELAD (CE) PA and MAJ RAFAEL O SANTOS (CE) PA) during a Retirement Ceremony held at the Brigade Covered Court on September 18, 2026.

The ceremony commenced with the Flag Retreat at 1700H, followed by the formal program, which included the invocation led by CMS Caesar A. Tamesis (CE) PA, Brigade Sergeant Major, and the welcome remarks delivered by COL ERVIN C. DIVINAGRACIA GSC (CE) PA, Deputy Brigade Commander, 52nd Engineer Brigade.

A key highlight of the ceremony was the reading of the Retirement Orders, followed by the presentation of Command Plaques to the retiring officers in recognition of their dedicated service and valuable contributions to the organization. The plaques were presented by BGEN FREDERICK A. ANCHETA PA, Commander, 52nd Engineer Brigade, assisted by COL ERVIN C. DIVINAGRACIA GSC (CE) PA.

The retiring officers also delivered their valedictory messages, sharing reflections on their military careers, experiences, accomplishments, and the meaningful relationships they built throughout their years of service in the Philippine Army. The Brigade Commander likewise conveyed his message to the retiring officers, expressing appreciation for their commitment and contributions to the Brigade and the organization.

Commander, Procurement Service, AFP VISITS 52ND ENGINEER BRIGADE

Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon - The 52nd Engineer (Kaayadan) Brigade, Philippine Army, warmly welcomed BGEN CRISANTO G PRADO PA, Commander, Procurement Service, Armed Forces of the Philippines (PSAFP), during his visit to the Brigade Headquarters today. The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen coordination and professional relations between the Procurement Service, AFP and the 52nd Engineer Brigade, particularly in matters concerning procurement support and the logistical requirements of the organization. BGEN PRADO’s visit also underscored the importance of responsive and efficient procurement in sustaining the operational and capability requirements of AFP units.

The PSAFP has emphasized its commitment to providing transparent, efficient, and mission-oriented procurement support to AFP units. Strengthening Partnership for Enhanced Disaster Response

MANOLO FORTICH, BUKIDNON — The 52nd Engineer (Kaayadan) Brigade, Philippine Army, and the Municipal Government of Manolo Fortich formalized an Inter-Local Agency Partnership (ILAP) to strengthen coordination and cooperation in disaster response operations.

The partnership focuses on enhancing immediate and coordinated response to disasters, emergencies, and vehicular accidents, particularly in Barangays Tankulan, Dalirig, and Maluko, including the accident-prone Mangima and Maluko Zigzag Roads.

Through the partnership, the 52nd Engineer Brigade, particularly its Engineer Support (KABIS-AY) Company, and the Municipal Government of Manolo Fortich reaffirmed their commitment to saving lives, minimizing casualties and damages, and ensuring prompt rescue and recovery operations.
