The 52nd Engineer (Kaayadan) Brigade, Philippine Army, formally conducted the Assumption of Office Ceremony for its newly designated Deputy Brigade Commander COL ERVIN C DIVINAGRACIA MNSA (CE) PA on Monday morning, May 18, 2026, at the Brigade Conference Room, marking another significant milestone in the unit’s continuing commitment to effective leadership and operational excellence.

The newly assumed Deputy Brigade Commander brings with him more than two (2) decades of distinguished military service, having served in various critical positions that shaped his expertise in combat leadership, legal scrutiny, academic research, and elite command responsibilities. Prior to his new assignment, he served as the former Deputy G4 (Logistics) at the Headquarters, Philippine Army, where he demonstrated exceptional competence in sustaining operational effectiveness and institutional support systems. His vast experience and strategic insight are expected to further reinforce the Brigade’s capability in carrying out its mandates across diverse operational environments.

During the ceremony, COL DIVINAGRACIA delivered a message underscoring his commitment to principled leadership and organizational unity. “I pledge to lead with humility, fairness, professionalism, and dedication. I will do my utmost to support our personnel, strengthen our organization, and contribute meaningfully to the success of the Brigade and the Philippine Army,” he stated before officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian human resources in attendance. His words resonated strongly within the ceremony, reflecting a leadership philosophy anchored on integrity, service, and shared responsibility in fulfilling the Brigade’s mission.

CAMP COL OSCAR F. NATIVIDAD, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon – 27 April 2026 The Commander of the Eastern Mindanao Command (EASTMINCOM), LTGEN ADONIS ARIEL G ORIO PA, rendered an official visit to the 52nd Engineer (Kaayadan) Brigade, Philippine Army, marked by military honors, an awarding ceremony, and a talk to troops.

LTGEN ORIO was accorded arrival honors by the brigade under the sterling leadership of BGEN FREDERICK A ANCHETA PA, its Brigade Commander, underscoring military discipline and the Unit’s high regard for leadership. The ceremony reflected the brigade’s operational readiness and unwavering commitment to the Philippine Army’s mission.

One of the highlights of the visit was the awarding ceremony, where exemplary personnel were recognized for their outstanding service, dedication, and contributions to the Unit's mission. The Gawad sa Kaunlaran was conferred upon CPT RAYMART JUSTINE C YURONG (CE) PA of the 512th Engineer Construction Battalion; MSg Roger M Ecobiza (CE) PA and SSg Dante S Villa Jr (CE) PA, of the Engineer Support Company. Their efforts significantly advanced engineering initiatives that contributed to community development and operational success.

Meanwhile, the prestigious Bronze Cross Medal was awarded to LTC ALLAIN S FUENTES CE (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer of the 544th Engineer (Pioneers) Battalion; CPT JOHN STEPHEN L PARTIDO (CE) PA of the same unit; and PFC Ian Dominic D Abrio (Inf) PA of the 512th Engineer (Kaagapay) Battalion. The awardees were recognized for acts of merit and courage in the face of operational challenges, demonstrating the highest standards of military professionalism.

In his address to the troops, LTGEN ORIO commended the brigade for its sustained excellence in engineering operations and its vital role in supporting both combat and civil-military missions across Eastern Mindanao. He emphasized the importance of discipline, unity, and adaptability in addressing evolving security challenges, while urging all personnel to remain steadfast in their duty to serve the nation.

“Your dedication and sacrifices are the backbone of our operational success. Continue to uphold the highest standards of service and integrity as we work together to secure lasting peace and development,” LTGEN ORIO stated.

The visit concluded with a renewed sense of purpose among the troops, reinforcing the command’s commitment to mission accomplishment, leadership excellence, and service to the Filipino people.

The 52nd Engineer (KAAYADAN) Brigade, Philippine Army celebrated the promotion of its 26 enlisted personnel on 21 April 2026 through a solemn Pinning of Ranks ceremony held at the Sarimanok Hall.

BRIGADIER GENERAL FREDERICK A ANCHETA PA, Commander of the 52nd Engineer Brigade, Philippine Army, presided over the ceremony by personally pinning the new rank insignias to the promoted personnel, alongside COLONEL RODEL V PANGILINAN GSC (CE) PA, Brigade Inspector General.

Following the pinning, BGEN ANCHETA extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly promoted personnel and imparted words of encouragement: "Let this milestone inspire you to strive even further. Continue to sharpen your skills, strengthen your character, and remain steadfast in upholding our core values. Always remember that true leadership is demonstrated through action, integrity, and selfless service."

The 52nd Engineer Brigade (KAAYADAN), Philippine Army, rendered military honors to the newly promoted BGEN FREDERICK A ANCHETA PA, Commander of 52EBde on 21 April 2026. Personnel of the brigade extended their well-wishes and congratulations to BGEN ANCHETA right after the arrival honors.

BGEN ANCHETA is the 25th Commander of 52EBde. He assumed his roles and duties on 27 March 2026. On 20 April 2026, he was officially promoted to the rank of Brigadier General.

BGEN ANCHETA is a licensed Mechanical Engineer who joined the military on 09 August 1993. He was officially commissioned as a regular officer on 09 August 1994. He is a proud graduate of the Officer Candidate School “Balikatan” Class 12-1994. Before assuming command of the 52nd Engineer Brigade, he served as its Deputy Commander from 04 March 2025 until 26 March 2026.

The entire KAAYADAN Team celebrates this milestone with COM52E, honoring not just his new rank but also recognizing his years of hard work, perseverance, and selfless duty to the country as a decorated officer and leader.
