CAMP COL OSCAR F. NATIVIDAD, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon โ 27 April 2026 The Commander of the Eastern Mindanao Command (EASTMINCOM), LTGEN ADONIS ARIEL G ORIO PA, rendered an official visit to the 52nd Engineer (Kaayadan) Brigade, Philippine Army, marked by military honors, an awarding ceremony, and a talk to troops.
LTGEN ORIO was accorded arrival honors by the brigade under the sterling leadership of BGEN FREDERICK A ANCHETA PA, its Brigade Commander, underscoring military discipline and the Unitโs high regard for leadership. The ceremony reflected the brigadeโs operational readiness and unwavering commitment to the Philippine Armyโs mission.
One of the highlights of the visit was the awarding ceremony, where exemplary personnel were recognized for their outstanding service, dedication, and contributions to the Unit's mission. The Gawad sa Kaunlaran was conferred upon CPT RAYMART JUSTINE C YURONG (CE) PA of the 512th Engineer Construction Battalion; MSg Roger M Ecobiza (CE) PA and SSg Dante S Villa Jr (CE) PA, of the Engineer Support Company. Their efforts significantly advanced engineering initiatives that contributed to community development and operational success.
Meanwhile, the prestigious Bronze Cross Medal was awarded to LTC ALLAIN S FUENTES CE (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer of the 544th Engineer (Pioneers) Battalion; CPT JOHN STEPHEN L PARTIDO (CE) PA of the same unit; and PFC Ian Dominic D Abrio (Inf) PA of the 512th Engineer (Kaagapay) Battalion. The awardees were recognized for acts of merit and courage in the face of operational challenges, demonstrating the highest standards of military professionalism.
In his address to the troops, LTGEN ORIO commended the brigade for its sustained excellence in engineering operations and its vital role in supporting both combat and civil-military missions across Eastern Mindanao. He emphasized the importance of discipline, unity, and adaptability in addressing evolving security challenges, while urging all personnel to remain steadfast in their duty to serve the nation.
