Nagmalampuson ang gihimong pagturn-over sa usa ka menor de edad didto sa opisina sa Lapu-Lapu City Social Welfare and Development Office, karong adlawa, Mayo 29, 2026.

Anaa sa maong higayon si Mr. Walter Estamo-Social Welfare Officer II gikan sa Manolo Fortich MSWD, inubanan sa atong BCPC Assistant Desk Officer Ms. Ciralyn Dayunot, alang sa han-ay ug legal nga pamaagi sa paghatod sa maong bata diha sa iyahang amahan. Diin gipasabot kaniya ang mga interventions nga pagahimoon sa opisina sa Lapu-Lapu CSWD, aron masiguro ang maayong kahimtang sa bata samtang anaa sa iyahang kustodiya.

Kinasing-kasing usab nga gidawat sa amahan ang iyang anak, nga dugay nang nahibulag kaniya sukad nga kini 8 anyos pa lamang.

Kani nga programa gihimo isip lakang aron sa pagpakunhod sa Teenage Pregnancy sa atong komunidad, ug aron mahatagan Ang mga ginikanan og ilang mga ( teen) anak sa ensaktong kahibalo sa paglikay sa maong sitwasyon.

May 25, 2026: LGU Damilag conducts training on the Digital Client Feedback System:

Frontline service providers of the Local Government Unit of Barangay Damilag, were successfully trained of the primary functions of the Barangay Client Satisfaction Measurement System, as developed and introduced by LGU Manolo Fortich.

The said training highlights a more convenient way of data collection, automated processing and analysis, of the surveyed feedbacks from the clients provided with basic services. This digital innovation demonstrates a strengthened ARTA Compliance across barangay level.

Punong Barangay Allan E. Cahoy has conveyed his appreciation to the participants for being the Council’s backbone support in the attainment of a 100% ARTA Compliance Rating.

Barangay Damilag, receives another recognition:

The Local Government Unit of Barangay Damilag has been recognized by the Municipal Internal Audit Service Office, for consistently achieving a 100% ARTA Compliance rating.

The said award was presented by Ms. Rhazel Roca-MIASO Head, during the two-day ARTA training held at Dreams Residences, San Miguel, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon on May 21, 2026.

This distinction is a testament to LGU Damilag's adherance to the rules set by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) under Republic Act No. 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business Act.

Kini aron masusi ni Dr. Louella Gamboa ang nagpailawom nga rason sa ilang malnutrisyon. Anaa usab ang atong Municipal Nutrition Action Officer, Ms. Rikkie Mae Lucero aron pag-asistar sa mga bata, ug paghatag giya sa mga ginikanan sa ensaktong nutrisyon.

Successful conduct of Operation Timbang Plus Data Quality Check, spearheaded by personnel from the Municipal Nutrition and Action Office (MNAO) held at the BNC Office, Purok 10, Damilag, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

This aims to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the OPT Plus data, gathered by our Barangay Nutrition Scholars, particularly the nutritional status of children aged 0 to 59 months old.

Present during the said activity were members of the Barangay Nutrition Council, led by Hon. Crisansel Floren-Comm. Chair on Health, together with our BNS Ms. Elisa Guhiting and Hazel Torres.

Good luck and good job, BNC Damilag!
