This is to inform all concerned that the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) of LGU Mapanas, in partnership with the Philippine Carabao Center @ VSU (PCC@VSU), Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), will conduct an Pregnancy Diagnosis (PD), Estrus Synchronization (ES), and Artificial Insemination (Al) activity using superior buffalo semen intended for carabao. This activity will be administered by trained artificial inseminators and will include the provision of veterinary and animal health services, such as deworming, vitamin supplementation, treatment, and free consultation for carabao and cattle raisers on the following schedules:

MARCH 16 & 19, 2026 (Monday & Thursday)
7:30am to 11:30am - Barangay Sta. Potenciana & E. Laodenio
1:00pm to 5:00pm - Barangay Del Norte & Del Sur

MARCH 17 & 20, 2026 (Tuesday & Friday)
8:00am to 12:00nn - Barangay Siljagon
1:00pm to 5:00pm - Barangay Manaybanay & Burgos

MARCH 18 & 21, 2026 (Wednesday & Saturday)
8:00am to 4:00pm - Barangay Jubasan

Our aim is to enhance livestock productivity, promote genetic improvement of carabao and cattle, and strengthen animal health management among local farmers.

As part of our commitment to public health and responsible pet ownership, the LGU thru Municipal Agriculture Office will conduct a series of activities, highlighted by the Mass Rabies Vaccination campaign to ensure a rabies-free community.

Pinanguhan ang pamamahagi ni Ma’am Nezzyl Tuba ng BFAR Northern Samar, mga kinatawan ni Mayor Ronn Michael L. Tejano na sina SB Members Hon. Adrian M. Tejano at Hon. Chando T. Pajares. Ginanap ang aktibidad sa Tanggapan ng Lokal na Pagsasaka at Pangingisda ng Mapanas.

Salamat San Ngatanan nga naging parte seni na amon decorations with the limited fund, manpower, time and unfavorable weather conditions was never been a reason to stop this collaborative effort. Above this art, is a testament of how bountiful and fruitful our local agriculture and Fisheries Sector in Mapanas and how we make a single coco Fiber, available office resources, and few lightings from a kind hearted individuals who lend us in making it a meaningful work of art from our bare hands.

We would like also to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Ronn Michael L Tejano for this opportunity that gives so much realizations of how artististic and united the entire LGU Family is.

Ang Kagawaran ng Pagsasaka (Department of Agriculture) Rehiyon Otso sa ilalim ng High Value Crop Development Program sa tulong ng Municipal Agriculture Office at Mapanas Agro Industrial High School ay nagsagawa ng Vegetable Production Training for Agriculture Students noong November 18-19, 2025. Ang na sabing pagsasanay ay tulong teknikal sa pagpapabuti at pamamahala Ng Gulayan sa Paaralan sa nasabing Paaralan.

Nagpapasalamat ang Municipal Agriculture Office sa Buong pagtanggap at pagsurporta Ng Mapanas Agro Industrial High School sa pangunguna ng kanilang butihing taga pangasiwa at Punong G**o na si Gng. Leonida M. Longcop. Buong pusong pagpapasalamat din sa DA RFO 8 - HVCDP sa pagpapa-abot Ng tulong na ito.

Ang Pamahalaang Lokal Ng Mapanas sa tulong ng Municipal Agriculture Office ay nagbigay ng tulong kaalaman at mga dekalidad na binhi ng Gulay sa mga benepisyaryo ng 4Ps at ilang nga kababaihan na may Malnurish Children at mga BNS. Ang na sabaing pagsasanay at pamimigay ay pinanguhan Ng butihing Alkade ng Bayan, Atty. Ronn Michael L. Tejano. Binigyan diin ni Mayor Ronn ang kahalagahan ng mga masustansya at dekalidad na pagkain na manggagaling mismo sa bawat bakuran ng tahanan na mahalaga rin sa kalusugan at pagkatoto ng mga Kabataan.

Dinaluhan din eto ni Gng. Marissa Moreno, 4Ps Municipal Link-Mapanas. Taos pusong nagpapasalamat ang Tanggapan Ng Lokal na Pagsasaka at Pangingisda. Hanggang sa susunod na pagsasanay, minamahal naming Kababaihan at mga Ilaw Ng Tahanan.

July 11, 2025 — The Municipality of Mapanas through Municipal Agriculture Office officially opened the Mapanas Agri-Fishery Marketing Fair 2025 at Brgy. Del Sur, in celebration of its 159th Founding Anniversary!

Running until July 16, the weeklong fair proudly features six participating barangays, each showcasing their finest locally sourced agri-fishery products — a true testament to the richness and resilience of Mapanas’ farming and fishing communities. 🇵🇭💚
