Marabut Fire Station personnel, headed by SFO3 Renante L Pelola, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, serves as one of the Guest Speaker and participated in the BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 Kick-Off with the theme, "Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa Para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman" together with the DepEd personnel of Marabut District, stakeholders, parents and community partners, in preparation for the upcoming school year held at Marabut National High School.

This event aims to prepare school facilities for the upcoming school year through community effort, ensuring that classrooms and infrastructure are clean, safe, and ready for students. The event also seeks to foster community engagement, resource mobilization, and advocacy for education, creating a collaborative environment that supports the success and well-being of students.

🔥🌱 BANTAY KALIKASAN: Anti-Open Burning and Fire Prevention Initiative 🌱🔥

The Marabut Fire Station under the leadership of SFO3 Renante L Pelola, together with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) headed by Engr. Ronald Alonzo, conducted public warning campaigns as part of the Bantay Kalikasan Program.

During the activity, the team installed informative tarpaulins to strengthen public awareness on fire safety and the dangers of open burning. Coordination with barangay officials was also conducted to ensure that all policies are properly observed and to help prevent incidents such as rubbish fires and forest fires.

This activity aims to remind every community about the harmful effects of burning waste and the importance of environmental protection.

Through continuous public warning campaigns, we encourage everyone to practice proper waste disposal, follow fire safety measures, and support the Anti-Open Burning Law.

BANTAY KALIKASAN: ANTI-OPEN BURNING AND FIRE PREVENTION INITIATIVE

Personnel of Marabut Fire Station, headed by SFO3 Renante L Pelola, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, and MENR Office Led by Engr. Ronald A. Alonzo conducted municipal-wide roving inspection and fire prevention initiative (MENRO-BFP joint activity) to ensure compliance with environmental laws and fire safety regulations. The said activity focused on the coordination with every barangay officials during field visits for immediate action and compliance support.

This activity strengthens enforcement and compliance at the barangay level, reduce cases of open fire burning, and improve community awareness on environmental laws and fire safety.

Marabut Fire Station, headed by SFO3 Renante L Pelola, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, participated in a Coastal Clean-Up Activity conducted by MENR Office together with other agencies, along the shoreline of Brgy. Mabuhay, Marabut, Samar.
