This convergence of collaborative governance and shared purpose was not merely an assessment, it was also a powerful statement to what we can achieve when we move forward as one cohesive force.

More than a procedural milestone, this program crystallizes our collective vow to uphold the highest standards of transparent governance, foster meaningful citizen engagement, and relentlessly pursue continuous innovation in the delivery of quality public service. It reaffirms our belief that good governance is a shared journey, not a solitary destination.

Under the steadfast leadership of Municipal Mayor Atty. Jose Joel P. Doromal and Vice Mayor John Lester Tan-Malack Tan, and spearheaded by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) under the adept guidance of Ms. Concepcion C. Pacatang, the entire LGU Maramag team extends its deepest and most profound gratitude to every stakeholder who poured their expertise, time, and heart into this endeavor. [ICYMI]: 𝟭𝟵𝗧𝗛 𝗕𝗨𝗞𝗜𝗗𝗡𝗢𝗡 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗠 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗦 (𝗕𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗢𝗖) 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛𝗟𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚

The Municipality of Maramag proudly served as host of the 19th Bukidnon League of Tourism Officers and Coordinators (BULTOC) Monthly Meeting last June 25, 2026, welcoming Tourism Officers and Coordinators from Local Government Units across the Province of Bukidnon for a day of dialogue, collaboration, and shared planning toward a stronger provincial tourism industry.

Held at the Maramag Municipal Hall, the gathering brought together delegates who reviewed ongoing tourism programs, policy updates, and destination development initiatives, while opening new avenues for inter-LGU partnership. Discussions centered on how member municipalities and cities can work together more closely, share best practices, and align local efforts with the province's broader tourism agenda.

Through the continuing collaboration of local tourism stakeholders, Bukidnon takes another step toward building a tourism industry that is resilient, competitive, and sustainable - one grounded in the province's natural resources, cultural heritage, and the hospitality of its communities.

A huge salute to our powerhouse team from the Municipal Tourism Office: Ms. Teresa Barilea [Municipal Tourism Officer], Ms. Renelyn Cajetas [PDO I], and Ms. Kareen Semitara [RO II], for their exceptional work! Special thanks as well to our ever-supportive leaders, Mayor Atty. Jose Joel P. Doromal and Vice Mayor John Lester Tan-Malack Tan, for championing tourism development in Maramag.
