On July 9, 2026, the Municipality of Maramag welcomed representatives from the Municipality of Medina, Misamis Oriental for a Benchmarking Activity aimed at learning from Maramag's established legislative and administrative best practices.

Present during the activity were Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. John Lester T. Tan and the members of the 16th Sangguniang Bayan of Maramag, who provided support throughout the benchmarking visit.
