The Gawad Parangal para sa Natatanging Kabataang Lingkod-Bayan 2026 recognizes our 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 (𝐒𝐊) 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 and 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (𝐋𝐘𝐃𝐂) 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 who successfully completed their studies while continuing to serve their respective communities. Their ability to balance academic responsibilities and public service reflects their discipline, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to youth development.

An initiative of the 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠, through the 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 – 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, led by 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙡𝙖 𝘼𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙖-𝘿𝙮, Youth Development Officer, this program was established to give due recognition to their academic accomplishments and honor their dedication to serving the youth and the community. It celebrates young leaders who demonstrate that pursuing education and fulfilling their responsibilities in public service can go hand in hand.

The youth leaders of Maramag successfully convened the 34th Regular Session of the Pambayang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan, reaffirming their collective commitment to strengthening youth participation, responsive leadership, and good governance.

𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐥𝐨, successfully conducted the 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 (𝐊𝐊) 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 on October 03, 2026, at the 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭, 𝐓𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐨𝐧, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠, 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐨𝐧, as part of the celebration of the 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

With the unwavering support of Punong Barangay 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐨 𝐄. 𝐎𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐬 𝐒𝐫. and the entire Barangay Council, the assembly served as a meaningful platform for youth engagement, empowerment, awareness, and unity, reflecting the spirit and objectives of the Linggo ng Kabataan celebration.

The assembly featured the presentation of the 𝐒𝐊 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 and 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 (𝐀𝐁𝐘𝐈𝐏), highlighting the allocation and utilization of funds and outlining the proposed programs, projects, and activities aimed at addressing the needs and priorities of the youth and promoting meaningful youth development in the community.

The program was further enriched by informative and engaging discussions from distinguished speakers. 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐥 𝐄. 𝐀𝐬𝐨𝐤 shared valuable insights on 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, while 𝐏𝐂𝐏𝐥. 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐒. 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧 delivered an informative discussion on 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐉𝐮𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲. The session was further strengthened by 𝐏𝐒𝐒𝐠. 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐆. The 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠, through the 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 – 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, led by 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙡𝙖 𝘼𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙖-𝘿𝙮, Local Youth Development Officer, successfully conducted the𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐀𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 on𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the 𝐃𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 – 𝐊𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐱, 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐊𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠, 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐨𝐧.

The program focused on two important adolescent and youth concerns: 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 and 𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, providing participants with relevant information, practical insights, and guidance to help promote safe, respectful, and responsible choices.

For the Anti-Bullying Awareness component, 𝙋𝙈𝙎𝙂 𝙂𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝘿. 𝙈𝙖𝙘𝙖𝙨 of the Maramag Police Station served as Resource Speaker, sharing valuable insights on bullying prevention, responsible behavior, and the importance of creating a safe and respectful environment for young people.

Meanwhile, 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙇𝙪𝙯 𝙐. 𝘾𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙖 from the Municipal Health Office served as Resource Speaker for the Teenage Pregnancy Awareness session, providing the youth with essential information on adolescent health, responsible decision-making, and the importance of seeking accurate health information and appropriate support.

Through this program, the Youth Development Division continues to create meaningful spaces where young people can learn, ask questions, become better informed, and develop the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate important challenges during adolescence.

With the unwavering support of Punong Barangay 𝙅𝙤𝙚𝙡 𝘽. 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤 and the entire Sangguniang Barangay, the assembly served as a meaningful platform for youth participation, empowerment, awareness, and unity.

The assembly featured the presentation of the 𝐒𝐊 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭, highlighting the programs, projects, and activities undertaken by the Sangguniang Kabataan in response to the needs and interests of the youth and the community.

The program was further enriched by informative and engaging discussions from distinguished speakers. 𝙋𝙈𝙎𝙜 𝙂𝙢𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝘿. 𝙈𝙖𝙘𝙖𝙨delivered a discussion on Anti-Bullying Awareness, while 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙡𝙖 𝘼𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙖-𝘿𝙮, Local Youth Development Officer, shared valuable insights on Youth Empowerment and Leadership. The session was further strengthened by 𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣𝙖 𝙉𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙅. 𝙊𝙡𝙞𝙡𝙖, who discussed Mental Health Awareness, providing the youth with relevant knowledge and perspectives on promoting well-being and seeking appropriate support.

Through the Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay San Miguel continues to create opportunities for young people to be informed, heard, empowered, and actively involved in matters that affect their lives and community.

Serving as the Resource Speaker was SK Chairperson 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙪𝙡𝙖 𝙈𝙞𝙚 𝘼. 𝙇𝙪𝙞𝙨 of Barangay Dagumbaan, who shared her experiences, insights, and perspectives on leadership and meaningful youth participation.

Through IGNITE, the Youth Development Division continues to provide platforms that inspire young people to develop their leadership potential, take initiative, and actively contribute to their communities.

Through this engagement, the LYDO Maramag shared its experiences, insights, and practices in promoting youth participation, strengthening youth organizations, and creating meaningful opportunities for young people to actively contribute to community development.
