The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Maramag successfully assisted in the release of the UPLIFT payout of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office X (DSWD-10) on July 20, 2026, at the Maramag Municipal Gymnasium.

Out of 2 cities and 20 municipalities in the Province, Maramag was given the privilege of being selected as a pilot area for the implementation of the UPLIFT Program.

This milestone reflects the municipality's commitment to ensuring that government assistance reaches eligible beneficiaries efficiently and effectively.

The KALIPI Training held on June 19, 2026 at Barangay North Poblacion successfully gathered 30 participants from different barangays of the municipality.

The participants actively took part in hands-on training on fossy wire craft and lei making, where they learned practical skills that can be developed into additional livelihood opportunities.
