𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗: Message of BJMP chief Jail Director Ruel S Rivera during the Oath Taking Ceremony of the 50 newly appointed Jail Officer 1 (JO1) held at the BJMP National Headquarters Main Conference Hall this morning.

The new batch of JO1 trainees are composed of 29 males 21 females who are now added to the roster of rank-and-file employees of the Jail Bureau.

This unit under the leadership of SJO3 Rexan C Francia joins the international community to commemorate the lifetime effort and legacy of South Africa's leader, Nelson Mandela, with the theme, "Climate, Food and Solidarity"

In line with the celebration, personnel of this unit through health service section joined in the simultaneous access to open air including routine daily activities like roving to dormitories and isolation cell to provide health consultation and monitoring among PDL and to give medicines and vitamins.

Moreover, all PDL through the effort of Unit CRS participated in the BJMPwide Nelson Mandela Rules webinar hosted by BJMPRO2 headed by JCSUPT BRENDAN O FULGENCIO, Regional Director.

This unit also participated in the simultaneous distribution of NMR leaflets to the community and hanging of Tarpaulin posted at the jail facade to show support on Nelson Mandela's Legacy-his leadership and devotion to peace, social justice, equality, and human understanding.

SIMULTANEOUS TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY

San Mateo Municipal Jail led by SJO3 Rexan C Francia, conducted Simultaneous Tree Planting activity in line with BJMPROII’s 32nd Anniversary with the theme, “Serbisyong Makatao, May Integridad, at Matatag Tungo sa Progresibong Komunidad”.

The said activity was conducted along Magat River situated at Barangay San Roque San Mateo, Isabela with a total of 10 Bamboo propagules planted.

TB CARAVAN IN JAIL

The I-Medical Healthcare Clinic, in partnership with the Department of Health-Cagayan Valley Center for Health Development (DOH-CVCHD)and Philippines Business for Social Progress (PBSP) thru its National Tuberculosis Control Program , conducted TB Caravan in this facility on July 6, 2023.

A total of 28 PDL were successfully screened through Mobile Chest X-ray.

PDL with abnormal result were immediately referred for Gen-Xpert for prompt detection of Mycobacterium Tuberculosis(MTB) and Resistance to TB Drug.

The program supported by this unit under the leadership of SJO3 Rexan C Francia, aimed to effectively eliminate PTB in jail and prevent transmission through early detection and successful management of TB disease among PDL.

IN PHOTOS: In celebration of the Women's Month 2023, personnel of this unit conducted Tree Planting and Weeding activity at SMMJ Adopted Area located at Magat River, San Mateo, Isabela with a total of 15 Bamboo Propagules planted.

The team also conducted Clean-Up Drive activity at the aforesaid site with a total of 5 sacks assorted garbage composed of plastic materials collected.

The activity under the supervision of JINSP ISAGANI V GAYAP aims to respond to the urgent call to protect and restore the environment by taking part in the greening program of the government.

LOOK: Municipal Health Office -San Mateo, Isabela headed by Dr. Rolly Gadiano, Municipal Dentist, conducted a Dental Mission and Covid-19 Booster among personnel and PDL earlier today.

A total of 4 PDL undergone tooth extraction while 17 availed dental check-up.

The team also conducted PINASLAKAS COVID-19 Booster campaign with a total of 2 personnel and 16 PDL got jabbed with COVID-19 Second Booster Dose.

This unit under the leadership of JINSP ISAGANI V GAYAP would like to thank MHO-San Mateo through Municipal Health Officer Dra. Ruth M. Cantorna for continuously extending your support to us!
