Last April 10, 2026, the APMC HEDMU facilitated the Basic Life Support (BLS) Training at the Amphitheater for our dedicated Nursing Service staff.

Through rigorous hands-on training and updated protocols, we continue to strengthen the life-saving capabilities of our medical team. We remain steadfast in our mission to uphold safety and professional competence within our institution.

Mission Accomplished: Successful Earthquake Drill

The Health Emergency and Disaster Management Unit
(HEDMU) is proud to report the successful ex*****on of our hospital-wide Earthquake Drill held on November 17, 2025!

We extend our deepest gratitude to the dedicated personnel who actively participated, including staff from OPD, Station 8, Station 9, Station 10, Station 11, and Stations 12 & 13, embracing all our doctors, nurses, and support staff. Your commitment to preparedness is commendable.

This vital exercise was facilitated by the HEDMU team, led by Dr. Alexis Gutoc, the HEDMU Head; Dr. Al-Maruf Macarambon, the DRRM-H manager; and Amer Sani, RN, the Assistant DRRM-H manager.

We continue to strengthen our response capabilities to ensure the safety of everyone within our facility. Let's maintain this high standard of readiness!

Capacity in Lanao del Sur! 🤝

The Amai Pakpak Medical Center - Health Emergency & Disaster Management Unit (APMC-HEDMU) is proud to have served as the facilitators for the intensive 5-day Basic Life Support and Standard First Aid (BLS-SFA) Training!

Last November 10-14, 2025, we had the privilege of training selected personnel from Provincial DRRM Office - LANAO DEL SUR, Marawi Cdrrmo, Provincial Health Office - LGU Lanao Del Sur, and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office - Lanao del Sur at the Provincial Capitol Gym, New Capitol Complex, Marawi City.

Our trainees demonstrated outstanding commitment, culminating in a successful and challenging Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) simulation on the final day—a true test of their newly acquired life-saving skills.

We commend the dedication of all participating agencies! APMC-HEDMU remains committed to empowering our partners in disaster and health emergency management.
