He believes that the place needs a leader who will bring the needed change so its noble people will be united towards making Lanao del Sur a progressive province, and Marawi a progressive city.

After her father, President Rodrigo Duterte, announced his willingness to campaign for his party's candidates in the May 9 elections, Vice Presidential candidate and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio urged his friends to unify.
