August 25-26, 2026 |

Marawi City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), led by District-3 In-charge Nadja U. Sarigidan, joined the MSSD Regional Monitoring Team and Marawi Coordinating Office (MCO), led by OIC Carimah Campong, in the monitoring of Kupkop, Dakila, Bangsamoro Sagip Kabuhayan (BSK), and ECCD programs in Barangays Rapasun, Cabingan, Banga and Cadayonan II of Marawi City.

The joint monitoring and supervision, and home visits aim to ensure that entitlements reached the intended recipients and that services received have uplifted the quality of lives of the benefitting children and families.

Also joining the activity are BLGU of Rapasun and Cadayonan II and community-based workers such as Parasocial Workers (PSW) and ECCD workers.

Kabataan Handa, Komunidad Ligtas.

Isang makabuluhang hakbang para sa ating mga Out-of-School Youth (OSY) sa Area 2, Sagonsongan noong August 14, 2026.

Nagsagawa ang City Government of Marawi sa pamamagitang ng aming opisina ng Basic Life Support (BLS) at First Aid Training na isinagawa sa pakikipag-ugnayan at koordinasyon sa City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).

Layunin ng programang ito na mabigyan ang ating mga kabataan ng kaalaman, kasanayan, at kumpiyansa na maaaring maging mahalaga sa oras ng emergency, hindi lamang para sa kanilang sarili, kundi maging sa kanilang pamilya at buong komunidad.

Patuloy nating susuportahan at bibigyan ng oportunidad ang ating mga kabataan upang maging responsable, may kakayahan, at handang tumulong sa kapwa.

Ngayong Agosto 3, 2026, bandang alas-1:40 ng hapon, naganap ang sunog sa Amai Pakpak Medical Center, Marawi City, na nagresulta sa tuluyang pagkasunog ng dalawang (2) bahay at nakaapekto sa 31 bed spacers na naitalang mga utility ng nasabing institution.

Agarang nagtungo ang City Government of Marawi sa pamamagitan ng City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) kasama ang City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) sa APMC upang magsagawa ng Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (RDANA) at matukoy ang agarang pangangailangan ng mga apektadong indibidwal.

Patuloy ang koordinasyon ng mga kinauukulang tanggapan para sa pagbibigay ng kinakailangang tulong at suporta sa mga biktima ng sunog.
