Nutri-Pickleball Tournament 2026 Promotes Healthy Living Through Sports
MARIBOJOC, BOHOL – The spirit of healthy competition and community camaraderie came alive as pickleball enthusiasts gathered for the successful staging of the Nutri-Pickleball Tournament 2026, one of the culminating activities of the Nutrition Month Celebration of the Municipality of Maribojoc.
The two-day tournament brought together players from different backgrounds, all united by a common goal—to promote an active and healthy lifestyle through sports. The event featured the Men's Beginners, Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles categories, where participants displayed determination, teamwork, and remarkable sportsmanship from the opening serve to the final championship point.
More than the medals and trophies, the tournament highlighted the growing popularity of pickleball in the municipality. Every rally reflected not only the players' competitive spirit but also the values of discipline, respect, perseverance, and friendship that the sport continues to foster within the community.
The championship matches kept spectators on the edge of their seats as finalists battled for the coveted titles. Immediately after the final games, the awarding ceremony recognized the outstanding performances of the winners while also celebrating the efforts of every participant who contributed to the event's success.
The Nutri-Pickleball Tournament also reinforced this year's Nutrition Month message by encouraging residents to embrace regular physical activity as an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. Through initiatives like this, the Municipality of Maribojoc continues to demonstrate that nutrition goes beyond healthy eating—it also includes staying physically active and building a stronger, healthier community.
