DUTERTE ARRESTED

Malacañang confirmed on Tuesday the arrest of former president Rodrigo Duterte, after the INTERPOL Manila received the official copy of the warrant of arrest from the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The warrant was served at 9:20 AM as he arrived in Manila from Hong Kong and he is currently under police custody.

“Sa kanyang pagdating, inihain ng Prosecutor General ang ICC notification para sa isang arrest warrant sa dating Pangulo para sa krimen laban sa sangkatauhan,” the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said in a statement.

In an earlier statement, Senator B**g Go said that he brought an ambulance to Ninoy Aquino International Airport as Duterte was set to undergo a medical procedure on Wednesday.
