No weather can dampen the spirit of service! Undeterred by the pouring rain and difficult conditions,Rain or shine, mission accomplishment remains non-negotiable when our fellow Filipinos need us most. Under the resolute leadership of 1LT JOSE LUIS D BARILLO PAF(RES) Acting Squadron Commander of Tactical Operations Squadron Reserve (TOSR) Bulacan led a joint relief operation alongside the 540th ABGR, the Philippine Army, and the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Pushing through harsh, unpredictable weather conditions, the combined forces displayed unwavering eagerness and dedication to navigate the water-bound Island Barangays of Pugad and Tibaguin in Hagonoy, Bulacan. This vital humanitarian mission was strategic supported by MAJ ROLANDO C RODOLFO PAF(RES) GSC, Squadron Commander of the 540th ABGR.

Special gratitude goes to our steadfast partners, the Ayala Foundation and Delbros Corporation, whose joint efforts made this outreach possible. No distance is too far, and no weather too severe, when duty calls for the Filipino people.

On August 15, 2026, the Tactical Operations Squadron Reserve-Bulacan (TOSR-Bulacan), in collaboration with the Philippine Army, successfully executed a relief distribution operation to support families affected by severe flooding caused by Tropical Storm Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon in Hagonoy, Bulacan.

On the ground, the operation was spearheaded by 1LT JOSE LUIS D BARILLIO PAF (RES), Acting Squadron Commander, under the strategic guidance of COL MARK ANTHONY A YAMBING PAF (GSC) Commanding Officer of 2nd ARCEN and BGEN MICHAEL ODYLON L ROMERO PAF (RES), Wing Commander of Tactical Operations Wing Reserve Northern Luzon.

This swift and coordinated effort was made possible through close partnership with PLTCOL LEONARD M LIM, Chief of Police of Hagonoy MPS, and 1LT GERALD A ALQUIZA PA, Commanding Officer of Alpha Company, 70IB.

Together, we remain committed to serving, protecting, and lifting up our communities in times of crisis.

Demonstrating tactical proficiency and unwavering commitment to service, the personnel of TOSR Bulacan carried out a successful Firing Exercise at Golden Target in Marilao, Bulacan, on August 1, 2026. The training was spearheaded under the visionary leadership of COL MARC ANTHONY A YAMBING PAF (GSC), Commanding Officer of the 2nd Air Reserve Center, and 1LT JOSE LUIS D BARILLO PAFR, Squadron Commander of TOSR Bulacan. This initiative focused on honing marksmanship fundamentals and strengthening force readiness, ensuring that our Air Force reservists remain capable, disciplined, and prepared for any mission. On 11 July 2026, Personnel of Tactical Operations Squadron Reserve - Bulacan participated in the Arrival Honors for BGEN MICHAEL ODYLON L ROMERO PAF (RES), Wing Commander of Tactical Operations Wing Reserve Northern Luzon, and BGEN GIEMEL O ESPINO PAF, Acting Commander, Reserve Command, Philippine Air Force. The activity was held at the grounds of 2nd ARCen, Clark Air Base, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

After the arrival honors, an awarding ceremony was conducted at the Multipurpose Hall, 2nd ARCen. Awards received by personnel of TOSR - Bulacan are the following:

- Award of the Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation Operation Ribbon (DRROR)
- Military Merit Medal (MMM)
- Military Civic Action Medal (MCAM)
- Luzon Anti-Dissidence
- AFP Anti-Dissidence
- Award of the Military Commendation Medal (MCM)

And one of the highest awards in the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Bronze Cross Medal. The activity shows the dedication of the personnel of Tactical Operations Squadron Reserve - Bulacan.

On 13 June 2026, personnel of the Tactical Operations Squadron Reserve Bulacan attended the 2026 2nd Quarter Assembly Test held at Camp Nathaniel Guillermo, Prenza 2, Marilao, Bulacan. The activity gathered reservists for accountability, data updating, administrative processing, and a refresher course on formation, drills, and march. It also served as a venue for disseminating the latest guidance from higher headquarters and strengthening coordination among personnel.

The 2nd Quarter Assembly Test was graced by 2nd ARCen personnel, 2LT Glenn Mark Ayop PAF and AM Ric Alvin Igama PAF. A refresher course on basic drills, commands, and marching was likewise conducted during the activity and was facilitated by the unit's VRI Instructors and recent ROTC graduates. To enhance organization and leadership during the training, the unit was divided into three (3) flights.

Through activities such as the Assembly Test, TOSR Bulacan continues to strengthen unit readiness, foster camaraderie among reservists, and uphold its commitment to supporting the mission of the Philippine Air Force Reserve Force.

Through teamwork, volunteerism, and community cooperation, the activity aimed to help create a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment for the students during the successful conduct of the Multi-site school improvement mission (Brigada Eskwela) 2026 activity held at Sitio Subic Daycare Center, Angeles City, Pampanga on 27 May 2026.

The activity was honored by the presence of BGEN MICHAEL ODYLON L. ROMERO PAF (RES), Wing Commander of Tactical Operations Wing Reserve Northern Luzon, and COL MARK ANTHONY A. YAMBING PAF (GSC), Commanding Officer of the 2nd Air Reserve Center, whose support and encouragement greatly contributed to the success of the event. The activity was further strengthened through the collective efforts of volunteers and personnel under the leadership of Squadron Commander 1LT JOSE LUIS D. BARILLO PAF(RES).
