Tactical Operations Squadron Reserve Bulacan

On 11 July 2026, Personnel of Tactical Operations Squadron Reserve - Bulacan participated in the Arrival Honors for BGEN MICHAEL ODYLON L ROMERO PAF (RES), Wing Commander of Tactical Operations Wing Reserve Northern Luzon, and BGEN GIEMEL O ESPINO PAF, Acting Commander, Reserve Command, Philippine Air Force. The activity was held at the grounds of 2nd ARCen, Clark Air Base, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

After the arrival honors, an awarding ceremony was conducted at the Multipurpose Hall, 2nd ARCen. Awards received by personnel of TOSR - Bulacan are the following:

- Award of the Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation Operation Ribbon (DRROR)
- Military Merit Medal (MMM)
- Military Civic Action Medal (MCAM)
- Luzon Anti-Dissidence
- AFP Anti-Dissidence
- Award of the Military Commendation Medal (MCM)

And one of the highest awards in the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Bronze Cross Medal. The activity shows the dedication of the personnel of Tactical Operations Squadron Reserve - Bulacan.

On 13 June 2026, personnel of the Tactical Operations Squadron Reserve Bulacan attended the 2026 2nd Quarter Assembly Test held at Camp Nathaniel Guillermo, Prenza 2, Marilao, Bulacan. The activity gathered reservists for accountability, data updating, administrative processing, and a refresher course on formation, drills, and march. It also served as a venue for disseminating the latest guidance from higher headquarters and strengthening coordination among personnel.

The 2nd Quarter Assembly Test was graced by 2nd ARCen personnel, 2LT Glenn Mark Ayop PAF and AM Ric Alvin Igama PAF. A refresher course on basic drills, commands, and marching was likewise conducted during the activity and was facilitated by the unit's VRI Instructors and recent ROTC graduates. To enhance organization and leadership during the training, the unit was divided into three (3) flights.

Through activities such as the Assembly Test, TOSR Bulacan continues to strengthen unit readiness, foster camaraderie among reservists, and uphold its commitment to supporting the mission of the Philippine Air Force Reserve Force.

Through teamwork, volunteerism, and community cooperation, the activity aimed to help create a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment for the students during the successful conduct of the Multi-site school improvement mission (Brigada Eskwela) 2026 activity held at Sitio Subic Daycare Center, Angeles City, Pampanga on 27 May 2026.

The activity was honored by the presence of BGEN MICHAEL ODYLON L. ROMERO PAF (RES), Wing Commander of Tactical Operations Wing Reserve Northern Luzon, and COL MARK ANTHONY A. YAMBING PAF (GSC), Commanding Officer of the 2nd Air Reserve Center, whose support and encouragement greatly contributed to the success of the event. The activity was further strengthened through the collective efforts of volunteers and personnel under the leadership of Squadron Commander 1LT JOSE LUIS D. BARILLO PAF(RES).

This meaningful initiative highlighted the spirit of bayanihan, cooperation, and volunteerism in creating a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for the students and teachers.

Strengthening skills, teamwork, and preparedness through the Survival Swimming Training conducted last May 09, 2026. The activity was successfully facilitated by Lecturer MSG Arnold Vytingco PAF (Res), Safety NCIOC together with the SARAT graduates under the leadership of Squadron Commander - OIC 1LT JOSE LUIS D BARILLO PAF (Res). The event was also honored by the presence of our special guests, LTC ANTONIO JOSELITO G LAMBINO II PAF(RES), incoming group commander of Tactical Operations Group Reserve 3 and LTC CRISPIN L. CAPRANGCA PAF(RES), Directorate for Personnel, TOWNOLR, whose support and encouragement inspired all participants throughout the activity. This training emphasized the importance of water survival skills, discipline, camaraderie, and operational readiness in emergency situations. Congratulations to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this meaningful activity.
