The Marilao Municipal Jail – Male Dormitory and Female Dormitory successfully formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Municipal Health Office of Marilao to further strengthen collaboration in providing quality healthcare services and promoting the welfare of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

The activity was conducted under the leadership of JSINSP JOHN PAUL B MILLEZA, Municipal Jail Warden, and was graced by Dra. Cecilia S. Maramba, who represented the Municipal Health Office.

This partnership reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to enhancing public health initiatives and ensuring accessible medical services.

The Marilao Municipal Jail – Male Dormitory and Marilao Municipal Jail – Female Dormitory served as the pilot jail facilities for the Pilot Testing of the Prisoners of Climate Change (POCC) Training and the ECRAAT Climate Risk Assessment in Jail. This significant initiative was spearheaded by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), BJMP National Headquarters (BJMP-NHQ), and BJMP Regional Office III (BJMPRO-III).

Under the leadership of JSINSP JOHN PAUL B MILLEZA, Municipal Jail Warden, the facility warmly welcomed the delegates and representatives from the participating institutions. The activity aims to strengthen the capacity of jail personnel in addressing climate-related risks and enhancing disaster resilience within jail facilities through evidence-based climate risk assessment and adaptive planning.

52nd Nutrition Month Celebration

In celebration of the 52nd Nutrition Month with the theme, “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan,” the Marilao Municipal Jail – Male Dormitory, in collaboration with the Marilao Municipal Jail – Female Dormitory, successfully conducted a meaningful and engaging Nutrition Month program under the leadership of JSINSP JOHN PAUL B MILLEZA, Municipal Jail Warden.

The celebration featured exciting activities, including the Nutri Jingle Competition and Cook Fest Competition, which showcased the creativity, teamwork, and awareness of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) on the importance of proper nutrition, healthy living, and environmental stewardship. Through these activities, participants demonstrated that rehabilitation also includes developing healthy habits and promoting sustainable practices.

The activity was graced by distinguished guests:
