About the Role:
We are looking for a Resident Manager to lead operations at our Mariveles, Bataan project site. The ideal candidate is a licensed Mining Engineer with extensive experience in quarry operations and blasting management. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and achieving production targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide overall leadership and management of quarry operations, coordinating teams and contractors.
· Monitor progress against project plans and budgets, addressing issues to keep the project on track.
· Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
· Implement robust health, safety, and environmental management systems to protect the workforce.
· Oversee efficient allocation of resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
· Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
· Foster a collaborative and positive work environment while supporting the development of the project team.
Qualifications & Experience
· Extensive experience as a Resident Manager or in a similar leadership role within the quarrying, mining, or heavy construction industries.
· Proven track record in managing large-scale quarry operations from planning to completion.
· Strong project management capabilities, including scheduling, budgeting, and control systems.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Comprehensive knowledge of quarry regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
· Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
· A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
· Must be willing to relocate to a nearby project site as needed.
