𝐀𝐅𝐀𝐁 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐒𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬

The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan, through its Gender and Development Committee, conducted an Anti-Sexual Harassment Awareness Seminar on 27 August 2026, attended by members of the AFAB GAD Technical Working Group, Committee on Decorum and Investigation, and designated frontline officers.

The activity was conducted in compliance with Rule III, Sections 16 to 20 of the 2025 Rules on Administrative Cases in the Civil Service, which provide updated policies and procedures concerning s*xual harassment and related administrative cases.
The seminar deepens employees’ awareness and understanding of s*xual harassment by providing relevant interventions, capacity-building initiatives, and procedural safeguards in the handling of s*xual harassment and related administrative cases.

Through this initiative, AFAB ensures that employees are informed of the rules and procedures governing s*xual harassment in the public service in order to nurture a safe, dignified, and professional workplace.

Bilang isang institusyong may matibay na paninindigan para sa inklusibong pag-unlad, ang Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) ay buong pusong nakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Pride Month. Sa panahong ito, muli nating pinagtitibay ang ating paniniwala na ang bawat isa, anuman ang kasarian, identidad, o oryentasyon, ay may karapatang mamuhay nang may dignidad, respeto, at kalayaang maging totoo sa sarili.

Ang AFAB ay naninindigan na ang isang makatarungan at maunlad na pamayanan ay nagsisimula sa pagkilala sa halaga ng bawat indibidwal. Sa loob ng ating mga tanggapan, serbisyo, at komunidad, patuloy nating itinataguyod ang kulturang nagbibigay-puwang sa bawat boses, kumikilala sa bawat karanasan, at nagpapahalaga sa bawat pagkatao.

Walang puwang ang diskriminasyon sa isang lipunang may malasakit at pananagutan. Sa halip, isinusulong natin ang pagtanggap, paggalang, at pantay na oportunidad bilang mahahalagang pundasyon ng tunay na inklusibong pag-unlad.

Ngayong Pride Month, kinikilala natin ang tapang, kasaysayan, at ambag ng LGBTQIA+ community. Ang pagdiriwang na ito ay paalala na ang pagkakaiba-iba ay hindi hadlang sa pagkakaisa, kundi mahalagang yaman na nagpapalakas sa ating samahan bilang isang komunidad.

Sa AFAB, kasama kayo. Kinikilala namin kayo, pinakikinggan namin kayo, at pinahahalagahan namin kayo—buo, pantay, at malaya.🏳️‍🌈

We remain in solidarity with all who continue to fight for safe spaces, recognition, and equal opportunities in schools, workplaces, communities, and even in their homes—where acceptance and understanding are just as important as any other space.

🏳️‍🌈 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗴𝘀. 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀. 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the diversity, courage, and contributions of LGBTQIA+ individuals and communities. We envision a society where every person is treated with dignity, respect, and fairness—regardless of s*x, gender identity, gender expression, or s*xual orientation.

True gender equality means creating spaces where everyone can participate, thrive, and be heard without fear of discrimination. It means ensuring that every individual has equal opportunities to live, work, lead, and succeed.

The Philippine Commission on Women reaffirms its commitment to advancing inclusivity, promoting human rights, and fostering a society where no one is left behind.

Our diversity is our strength. Together, let us build a nation where everyone is free to live authentically, safely, and with pride.

𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐤𝐚𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐅𝐀𝐁 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐬𝐚 𝐖𝐨𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐁𝐞𝐞

Bilang panghuling aktibidad ng AFAB sa pagdiriwang ng Women’s Month, isinagawa ng Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), sa pamamagitan ng Gender and Development (GAD) Committee nito, ang isang paligsahan at tagisan ng kaalaman tungkol sa gender and development 26 Marso 2026.

Muling ipinamalas ng mga lumahok na mga manggagawa sa FAB ang lawak ng kaalaman hinggil sa mga umiiral na batas, mga programa’t aktibidad ng AFAB sa pagsusulong ng gender awareness at equality, gayundin ang mga naging kontribusyon ng kababaihan sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas.

Parehong naging masaya at makabuluhan ang bawat aktibidad para sa Women’s Month ngayong taon, kasama ang bawat manggagawang kaisa natin sa pagsusulong ng isang lipunang may pagrespeto at pantay na pagtrato sa bawat kababaihan.

Matagumpay na isinagawa ng Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), sa pamamagitan ng Gender and Development (GAD) Committee nito, ang “GAD Congress: An Awareness Orientation on Anti-Rape Law and Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act” bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng National Women’s Month.

Tinalakay sa nasabing aktibidad ang mahahalagang probisyon ng Republic Act No. 8353 o Anti-Rape Law of 1997, gayundin ang Republic Act No. 9208 o Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003, na pinalawak sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 11862. Layunin nitong palalimin ang kaalaman ng buong FAB Community hinggil sa mga batas na nagtataguyod ng karapatan at proteksyon ng kababaihan, at isulong ang isang ligtas at gender-fair workplace.

Pinatunayan ng aktibidad na ito ang mariing pagsuporta ng AFAB sa adbokasiya ng patas na pagtinging sa bawat kasarian at pagpapahalaga sa mahalagang papel ng kababaihan sa isang mayabong at matagumpay na Freeport Area of Bataan.
