Kaninang umaga mula 6:00AM hanggang 10:30AM, punong-puno ng saya at pagkakaisa ang Barangay Alion Covered Court para sa pagdiriwang ng Women's Month!

Maraming salamat sa LAHAT NG MGA SAMAHAN NG BABAE sa barangay na aktibong sumali at nakilahok sa programa! Ang inyong paglahok ay nagpapatunay ng lakas ng pagkakaisa ng mga kababaihan dito sa ating lugar.

Nagbigay ng inspirasyon at mga mahalagang mensahe tungkol sa kahalagahan ng isang babae sina Ms. Susan Murillo at Ms. Lolit Tubang. Bukod pa sa mga kaalamang natutunan, nagkaroon din ng libreng breast screening na inayos ng mga tauhan ng Health Center para sa ating mga kababaihan.

Silence is not an option when lives are at stake — and today, we raise our voices loud and clear: Speak up, Step up, Stand up for the VAWC law!

Republic Act No. 9262 was crafted to protect every woman and child in the Philippines from all forms of abuse — physical, emotional, sexual, economic, and psychological. Yet, far too many still suffer in the shadows, held back by fear, stigma, or lack of awareness about their rights.

Speak up — if you see something, say something. If you or someone you love is hurting, reach out. Break the cycle of silence that lets violence thrive. Share your story, amplify survivors’ voices, and call out harmful attitudes that normalize abuse. Your words can be the first spark of hope for someone trapped in darkness.

Step up — don’t wait for change to happen; be the change. Educate yourself and your community about what VAWC is, how the law works, and where to find help. Volunteer with local organizations in Bulacan and across Central Luzon that provide counseling, legal aid, shelter, and support to survivors. Teach the young people in your life about respect, equality, and healthy relationships — because prevention starts with us.

Stand up — be a pillar of strength for justice. Demand that our leaders prioritize the full implementation and enforcement of the VAWC law. Hold perpetrators accountable for their actions and push for better resources, safer spaces, and stronger systems that protect the most vulnerable among us. Stand shoulder to shoulder with survivors, advocates, and allies who refuse to let violence go unchallenged.

This isn’t just about a law — it’s about our collective humanity. Every woman and child deserves to live free from fear, with dignity and respect. Let’s stand together, act together, and build a Philippines where Speak up, Step up, Stand up isn’t just a call to action — it’s the way we live our lives. 💪✨

Welcome to Barangay Alion - Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC)

Our Mission
To protect the rights and promote the holistic well-being of every child in Barangay Alion, ensuring they grow in a safe, nurturing community where their potential can flourish.

Who We Are
The BCPC of Barangay Alion is composed of dedicated volunteers, barangay officials led by Punong Barangay Hon. Marcialito Dalabajan Balan, social workers, and concerned citizens. We work hand-in-hand with families, schools, and local agencies to address the needs of our barangay's children—who make up 30.42% of our total population of 3,389 (2020 census).

What We Do

• Monitor and support children at risk, with a focus on the 10-17 age group which has the highest youth population in our barangay

• Provide counseling and guidance to children and their families

• Conduct educational activities on child safety, rights, and positive parenting

• Coordinate with municipal and provincial authorities for intervention and assistance when needed

• Help link families to essential services like healthcare and education

Our Commitment
Rooted in the spirit of Barangay Alion and the rich heritage of Mariveles, we are committed to building a community where every child is valued, heard, and protected. We strive to ensure no child is left behind as our barangay continues to grow.
