Bilang tugon sa nalalapit na pagdating ng Bagyong Uwan, nagsagawa ngayong araw ang Sangguniang Kabataan at Junior BDRRMO ng isang emergency meeting na pinangunahan ni SK Chairperson Marc De Jesus at Punong Barangay Celso Solano.

Layunin ng pagpupulong na pagplanuhan at paghandaan ang mga posibleng epekto ng paparating na bagyo, kabilang na ang paglikas ng mga residente sa mabababang lugar, paghahanda ng mga evacuation center, at pagtiyak sa kaligtasan ng bawat kabarangay.

Tinalakay rin sa pagpupulong ang mga maaaring maging parte ng mga kabataang kasapi ng Junior BDRRMO, gaya ng pagtulong sa pamamahagi ng impormasyon tungkol sa kaligtasan, pagsasagawa ng house-to-house reminders, at pagtulong sa relief preparation.

State weather bureau PAGASA may raise Signal No. 5 on Sunday night ahead of potential super typhoon 's landfall in Aurora or Isabela.

"At yung ating mga wind signal number 5, ito yung pinakamataas po na possible na wind signal na itaas natin. Dito po sa mga posibleng tamaan niya yung possible landfall areas pagsapit ng Sunday evening. Dito sa may Aurora, ganyan din sa ilang bahagi pa ng Isabela, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Benguet, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, hanggang dito po sa may La Union and Ilocos Sur," PAGASA weather specialist Benison Estareja said.
