WHEREAS, on December 20, 1999, the Sanguniang Bayan approved Resolution No.240-99 creating Public Safety Office (PSO) as deputy organization of Philippines National Police (PNP)under the Office of the Municipal Mayor. The main function of the new formed organization is to assure that Resolution, Municipal Ordinance and National Laws concerning criminology, environment protection and

rescue during disasters are being applied and observed all the time by every constituent in Mariveles.
