The 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 of Masbate will conduct the 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐈𝐒-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐱 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟖–𝟑𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, bringing together assessment personnel from the Province's 20 municipalities and the City of Masbate.

The three-day capability-building activity aims to strengthen the technical competencies of LGU assessment personnel in GIS-based tax mapping and digitization, empowering them to support the Province's vision of developing accurate, updated, and modern digital tax maps for a more efficient, transparent, and technology-driven real property assessment system.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Early this morning, June 1, 2026, the Office of the Regional Director (ORD) welcomed the delegation from Masbate Provincial Assessor’s Office (PAssO) headed by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐓. 𝐀𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧, Provincial Assessor, who was joined by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐓. 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐬, LAOO IV, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐞𝐲 𝐑. 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐧, LAOO III, and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐙. 𝐀𝐜𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚, AC, for a courtesy visit and submission of the proposed Schedule of Market Values (SMV) for the province of Masbate.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 (𝐒𝐌𝐕) pursuant to Republic Act No. 12001 or the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA), held yesterday, May 12, 2026, at the Barangay Plaza of F. Magallanes, City of Masbate.

This undertaking forms part of the continuing implementation of RPVARA, which aims to establish a more updated, uniform, and market-responsive system of real property valuation across the country. Through this public consultation, stakeholders were given the opportunity to better understand the proposed 2027 Schedule of Market Values (SMV), share insights, raise concerns, and participate in discussions that directly affect their communities.

The conduct of this consultation reflects the commitment of the 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 - 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞 to transparency, accountability, and participatory governance in the preparation of the proposed 2027 SMV for the Province of Masbate.
