Bilang pagsunod sa Department of Education Order No. 010, s. 2026, ipatutupad sa lahat ng pampublikong paaralang elementarya at sekundarya ang Summer Remediation Programs (SRP) mula Mayo 6 hanggang Hunyo 2, 2026. Ang Capitolina O. Legaspi Memorial High School ay aktibong makikilahok sa programang ito.

Layunin ng programang ito na matulungan ang mga mag-aaral na mapunan ang kakulangan sa pagkatuto at mapalakas ang kanilang kasanayan sa Pagbasa at Matematika, bilang paghahanda sa susunod na taong panuruan.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Solo Parents Week (April 13–18) at National Solo Parents Day (April 18, 2026), binibigyang-pugay natin ang katatagan, sakripisyo, at walang kapantay na pagmamahal ng ating mga solo parent.

Ang pagiging magulang ay hindi kailanman naging madali—lalo na kung ito’y hinaharap nang mag-isa. Ngunit sa kabila ng mga pagsubok, patuloy ninyong pinipili ang tumayo, lumaban, at magtagumpay para sa inyong mga anak. Kayo ay tunay na inspirasyon ng katatagan at pag-asa.

📣 Paggunita sa Araw ng Kagitingan 🇵🇭

Ngayong ika-9 ng Abril, ating ginugunita ang Araw ng Kagitingan, isang mahalagang araw sa kasaysayan ng ating bansa na sumisimbolo sa katapangan, sakripisyo, at pagmamahal sa bayan ng ating mga bayani.

Hindi lamang ito pag-alala sa nakaraan, kundi paalala rin sa atin ngayon—lalo na sa kabataan—na ang tunay na kagitingan ay makikita sa araw-araw na paggawa ng tama, pagtulong sa kapwa, at aktibong pakikilahok sa paghubog ng mas maayos na lipunan.

Para sa kinabukasan, nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon ang diwa ng kagitingan upang patuloy nating ipaglaban ang katotohanan, katarungan, at kapayapaan. Sama-sama nating buuin ang isang bansang matatag at may malasakit sa bawat isa.

Kaisa ng sambayanan ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon sa paggunita ng ika-84 Araw ng Kagitingan ngayong Abril 9. 🇵🇭

Kasabay nito, ipinagdiriwang din ng bansa ang Philippine Veterans Week. Hangad natin na magsilbing inspirasyon sa bawat isa ang kagitingan at kabayanihan ng ating mga Pilipinong beterano na nagbahagi ng kanilang serbisyo para sa kasarinlan ng ating bansa.

The 9th Senior High School Graduation Ceremony of COLMHS was a deeply meaningful celebration, honoring the hard work, perseverance, and accomplishments of our graduates. The event was skillfully hosted by Sir June Ranola and Ma’am Regine Alto, who guided the program with warmth and professionalism, creating a memorable and joyful experience for all.

This milestone would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of the working committees, whose dedication, careful planning, and behind-the-scenes coordination ensured the success of the ceremony. Their commitment reflects the spirit of teamwork and service that defines the COLMHS community.

The ceremony was further enriched by the inspiring message of Guest Speaker Ma’am Janice N. Lupango, an alumna of COLMHS Senior High School and a Licensed Professional Teacher. Her words encouraged graduates to embrace challenges with courage, pursue excellence with integrity, and value lifelong learning. Her journey served as a powerful reminder that perseverance, dedication, and faith are keys to success.

COLMHS extends heartfelt gratitude to the parents and families, whose unwavering support has been a foundation for the students’ achievements. Special appreciation is given to Sir Louie Asuncion, the confirming officer, for his guidance; to PSDS Silvino B. Doctolero Jr., whose presence added honor to the event; to the Barangay LGU headed by Brgy. Captain Marc Edward Lim for his presence and continued support to the endeavors of our school, and to Principal Ma’am Jenniper B. Doctolero, along with all the faculty of Junior and Senior High School, for their dedication, mentorship, and unwavering support in shaping students academically, morally, and socially.

The Baccalaureate Mass and Thanksgiving of the Grade 10 Completers and Grade 12 Graduates of COLMHS was a solemn and meaningful celebration that honored both achievement and faith.

The Mass was officiated by Rev. Fr. Gil Cordova, who led the congregation in prayer and reflection, inspiring students to give thanks for the blessings and guidance they have received throughout their academic journey.

This sacred occasion served as a moment of reflection, allowing the completers and graduates to look back on their years of hard work, sacrifices, and growth. It also marked a spiritual preparation as they move forward to new beginnings, carrying with them the values of humility, perseverance, and trust in God.

The 2026 Moving Up Ceremony was a significant milestone that celebrated the academic transition and accomplishments of the Grade 10 learners as they advanced to the next stage of their educational journey. The event symbolized not only completion but also readiness—preparing students to face greater challenges with confidence, competence, and determination.

The program was effectively hosted by Sir Ronald Esquillo and Ma’am Honey Grace Torres. The success of the event was also made possible through the dedicated efforts of the working committees, whose commitment and teamwork ensured that every detail was carefully executed.

The ceremony was further enriched by the inspiring message of the Guest Speaker, Sir Paulo Corral, an alumnus of COLMHS and a Licensed Professional Teacher. His words resonated with the students, reminding them of the value of perseverance, humility, and continuous striving for excellence. His journey served as a powerful example of what determination and education can achieve.
