📷DEDICATION BEYOND THE SHORE: PRESERVING MASBATE’S MARINE TREASURES 🤿🌊🌴
From the highest uplands to the deepest depths of the sea, our commitment to the environment knows no bounds!
In celebration of Month of the Ocean (MOO) 2026 under the theme “Sustaining Ocean Health, Sailing a Resilient Nation,” and in observance of the International Day for Biological Diversity, the dedicated team of CENRO Masbate employees joined forces with DENR Masbate and Philippine Coast Guard- Masbate for a massive joint Coastal Cleanup, Scubasurero, and tree planting of Mangrove saplings at the breathtaking Buntod Reef Marine Sanctuary and Sandbar.
While our teams routinely work hard to keep our streets and mountains clean. Our divers and shore cleanup crews submerged into the crystal-clear waters of Buntod to remove marine debris, ensuring that Masbate's vibrant underwater ecosystem and rich biodiversity remain protected for generations to come.
