READ: Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council relative to the forecasted continuous heavy rainfall due to Severe Tropical Storm “Kristine,” and to aid in the rescue and relief operations of the government, work in government offices and classes at all levels in Luzon are hereby suspended on 24 October 2024.
​Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services are hereby directed to continue their operations and render the necessary services.
Further thereto, the localized cancellation or suspension of classes and/or work in government offices in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives, pursuant to relevant laws, rules and regulations.
​The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

In support of this activity barangays may conduct a synchronized barangay assembly where barangay officials alongside barangay employees, community stakeholders, and citizens may watch the event.

All online viewers and participants in the synchronized barangay assemblies may also take photos for posting in their personal page as well as on the official page of their agencies with the hashtag .

CONVENING OF THE 2024 CBMS PROVINCIAL COORDINATING BOARD

The CBMS Provincial Coordinating Board convened for a meeting today, January 25, 2024, at the Governor’s Office Convention Hall, Provincial Capitol Building which was spearheaded by the Philippine Statistics Authority in cooperation with the Provincial Government of Masbate.

Representatives from concerned agencies were briefed on the objectives of the CBMS, the scope and coverage of the 2024 CBMS, and their respective roles and responsibilities for the CBMS operations with the purpose of generating updated and disaggregated data in targeting beneficiaries for socio-economic programs.

In attendance also were the PSA - Bicol Regional Director Cynthia Perdiz, PSA Masbate Officer-in-Charge Marivel Alarcon, and Assistant Provincial Administrator Ramon Diamos.

LOOK.. January 15, 2024- Gov. Antonio T. Kho administers the Oath of Office of the newly elected Liga Ng Mga Barangay, Masbate Provincial Chapter President Brgy. Capt. Eric E. Castillo of Brgy. Puro, Aroroy, Masbate at the Governor's Office Conference Room, Capitol Bldg. Masbate City.

The Liga ng Mga Barangay Masbate Provincial Chapter Election was held last January 12, 2024 at 2nd Floor Gagay's Hotel and Resort, Himomoro Tugbo, Masbate City.
