❤️❤️❤️
There is something painfully ironic about the image.
On one side, you see the Philippine bills, colorful, crisp, carefully designed, each one featuring animals that symbolize biodiversity and national pride. Eagles, crocodiles, birds, marine life. They look important. They look prestigious. They are printed, displayed, protected.
On the other side stands a carabao.
Covered in mud. Tied to a post. Quiet. Uncelebrated.
Yet between the two, sino ba talaga ang mas nagbuhat ng bansa?
The animals on the bills are symbols.
But the carabao is sacrifice.
For decades, it has walked under the burning sun, pulling plows through heavy soil, carrying harvests on its back, helping farmers survive season after season. Walang reklamo. Walang pahinga. Tahimik lang na nagtatrabaho.
Hindi siya pang-display. Pang-gawa siya.
And maybe that’s why it was never printed on money.
Because society often celebrates what looks good, not what works hard.
Ganito rin minsan ang buhay ng tao.
You can give everything, your time, your strength, your loyalty, yet still be overlooked. You help others rise, but when success comes, your name isn’t mentioned.
But here’s the truth we rarely say out loud:
Not everything valuable is meant to be displayed.
Some things are meant to carry the weight.
Just like the carabao.
And maybe you’re like that too.
Tahimik. Masipag.
So don’t measure your worth by recognition.
Because the strongest lives are not printed.
They are lived.
