The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Zambales, through Negosyo Center Masinloc Business Counselor Larra Laine Reyes, conducted an Entrepreneurial Mindsetting and How to Start a Small Business seminar for Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries during their Family Development Session (FDS) in Sto. Rosario, Masinloc, Zambales, on July 9, 2026.

A total of 50 beneficiaries from the morning and afternoon sessions participated in the activity, which aimed to encourage entrepreneurship and equip participants with basic knowledge on starting a small business. The seminar also highlighted DTI programs and services available to support aspiring entrepreneurs.

The activity was conducted in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to promote entrepreneurship as a sustainable livelihood opportunity and empower beneficiaries toward economic self-reliance.

On July 16, 2026, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Zambales, through Negosyo Center Masinloc Business Counselor Larra Laine Reyes, conducted an Entrepreneurial Mindsetting and How to Start a Small Business seminar for Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries during their Family Development Session (FDS) in San Salvador, Masinloc, Zambales.

A total of 57 beneficiaries from the morning and afternoon sessions participated in the activity, which aimed to promote entrepreneurship and equip participants with the basic knowledge and skills needed to start a small business. The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through Negosyo Center Masinloc, conducted an Entrepreneurial Mindsetting Seminar for the Community Savings and Credit Associations (CoMSCAs) of San Salvador, Masinloc, Zambales during the training-workshop on "Product Packaging, Labelling, and Branding for Oyster and Other Value-Added Products" held on July 7, 2026.

The seminar encouraged participants to develop an entrepreneurial mindset by promoting innovation, value addition, and sustainable business practices. It also emphasized the importance of proper product packaging, labeling, and branding in enhancing product competitiveness.

The activity was facilitated by Ms. Vivian O. Ecunar, Dean of the PRMSU Candelaria Campus, in coordination with the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), and in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), which provided an orientation on the requirements for the Special Use Agreement in Protected Areas (SAPA).

The initiative reflects DTI's commitment to empowering local communities through entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihood development.
