𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒’ 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠

On the morning of June 11, 2026, Bani National High School successfully conducted its Students’ Orientation with the theme “Health, Safety, and Well-Being.” The activity aimed to equip learners with essential knowledge, school policies, safety protocols, and support programs to help them begin the school year informed, responsible, and prepared.

The program was facilitated by Sir Ace B. Edejer, Teacher II, who guided the learners throughout the orientation and ensured the smooth flow of activities.

The orientation commenced with the Child Protection Orientation, where Maureen Abadilla, Guidance Counselor I, discussed the Anti-Bullying Policy, Child Protection Policy, and Safe Spaces Act, emphasizing every learner’s right to a safe and supportive learning environment.

This was followed by the DRRM Orientation led by Diosdado Edquiban, Teacher II, who provided important information on earthquake and fire drill procedures, emergency preparedness, and safety protocols during emergencies.

Also facilitated by Maureen Abadilla, Guidance Counselor I, the Mental Health and Wellness Session focused on stress management, emotional awareness, and building positive relationships, encouraging learners to prioritize their mental and emotional well-being.

The School Health Programs orientation was discussed by Krystle Anne Encina, Teacher I, highlighting proper nutrition, personal hygiene, and correct handwashing practices to promote healthy habits among students.

To conclude the program, Janet E. Esteban, Head Teacher III, presented the Three-Term Academic Calendar in accordance with DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2026, helping learners understand the new academic structure and important school schedules.

The success of the activity was made possible through the unwavering support and hands-on leadership of Dr. Asuncion A. Eala, Principal III, whose all-out commitment to student welfare, school readiness, and quality education ensured a meaningful and well-organized orientation. Through her guidance and dedication, Bani National High School continues to foster a safe, healthy, and learner-centered environment where every student is empowered to succeed.

On June 11, 2026, starting at 1:00 PM, Bani National High School successfully conducted its Parents’ Orientation with the theme “Parent and Community Engagement.” The activity served as an avenue to strengthen collaboration between the school and parents in promoting learners’ academic success, well-being, and holistic development.

The orientation featured informative sessions facilitated by dedicated BNHS educators:

📌 Learner Support – Reading at Home, Homework Monitoring, and Communication Channels

📌 School Policies – Child Protection, Anti-Bullying, and School Discipline
Speaker: Ms. Maureen Abadilla, Guidance Counselor I

📌 Classroom PTA Organization – Election of Officers, Parent Volunteers, and Brigada Support
Speaker: Ms. Cristine Joy E. Menes, Teacher I

📌 Responsible Parenthood
Speakers: Ms. Corrine Ela, Teacher I; Ms. Zoila Attero, Teacher I; and Ms. Josephine Ermita, Teacher III

The activity was further highlighted by the presence and unwavering support of Dr. Asuncion A. Eala, Principal III, whose commitment to fostering strong school-community relationships was evident throughout the program. Together with other generous members of the teaching force, Dr. Eala provided special prizes and tokens for parents who arrived early, encouraging punctuality and active participation in the orientation.

Bani National High School proudly celebrates another milestone as it was recognized as a Regional Awardee for Functional School Governance Council (SGC) during the Regional Awarding Ceremony held at Hacienda Gracia on June 18, 2026.

This recognition affirms the school’s steadfast commitment to participatory governance, strong partnerships, and the collective pursuit of excellence in education. More than an award, it reflects the dedication of every stakeholder who continues to work together in creating opportunities and ensuring the holistic development of every learner.

Bani NHS honors the invaluable contributions of Sir Ricky E. Eala and Sir Jon Sypher E. Empeño, whose leadership and foresight strengthened the foundations of the School Governance Council and fostered a culture of collaboration and accountability.
