Get ready for the most exciting Talent Search for Dancing & Singing this coming LGU Maslog Fiesta 2026!

📍 Screening Venue: Farmer’s Training Center
🗓 Screening Dates:
• May 11, 2026 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 NN
•May 13, 2026 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 NN

✅ WHO CAN JOIN?
•Open to all residents of the Municipality of Maslog;
• May represent barangay, school, or organization;
• No age limit (must be able to perform independently)
• Previous participants may join (except defending champions)
• Must be available for the LIVE Grand Finals;

🎶 AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Prepare a Dance or Singing performance
• Minimum: 3 minutes | Maximum: 5 minutes

Later this morning, 50 children of Maslog, aged 8–10 years old, were given a meaningful opportunity to learn about caring for our environment through an engaging lecture on basic environmental awareness and conservation.

This initiative was made possible through the efforts of the DENR Region VIII, led by Ma’am ROWENA C. OPINIANO - Chief, RSCIG, who shared valuable insights on “ ANG ATING KALIKASAN” and the importance of protecting our natural resources. Also joining the session was Sir JAYSON L. ALFON - EMS II/Information Officer Designate of CENRO Dolores, who delivered an informative discussion on Climate Change and Solid Waste Management.

As part of the activity, DENR RO8 also distributed coloring books and tokens to the participating children, adding joy and encouragement to their learning experience.

The LGU Maslog, through Mayor Septemio C. Santiago, expresses its heartfelt gratitude for this opportunity to educate and inspire the young generation of Maslog.

Through activities like this, we empower our young generation to become responsible stewards of the environment—because protecting our planet starts with awareness at an early age.

Hatid muli ng Office of the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources (MENRO), narito ang panibagong episode ng ating Vlog Series na magpapaalala sa bawat isa:

🎥 Episode Feature: “Itigil ang Illegal Open Dumping: Basura Ilagay sa Tamang Lugar”

Hindi solusyon ang basta pagtatapon ng basura kung saan-saan. Ang illegal open dumping ay nagdudulot ng pagbaha, masamang amoy, pagdami ng sakit, at pagkasira ng ating kalikasan.

🚫 Iwasan ang maling gawain:
• Pagtatapon ng basura sa ilog, bakanteng lote, at gilid ng kalsada
• Paggawa ng tambakan sa hindi awtorisadong lugar

✅ Gawin ang tama:
• Ilagay ang basura sa tamang lalagyan

In celebration of Earth Day, the Municipality of Maslog conducted a meaningful Clean-Up Drive Activity, bringing together community members in a shared commitment to protect our environment.

The day started with an energetic Zumba session that set a lively and positive tone before participants proceeded to the clean-up activity. Employees of the Local Government Unit of Maslog joined hands with the Parish Youth of Saint Isidore the Farmer, whose participation added enthusiasm and unity to the event.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Jayson Gamalo for allowing the youth to take part in this initiative. This simple yet impactful celebration was led by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office, reminding us all that collective action—no matter how small—can make a big difference for our planet.

Together, let’s continue to care for our environment.

Ang Liga ng mga Barangay Maslog Chapter, sa pamamagitan ng Resolution No. 01, Series of 2026, ay opisyal na nagpatupad ng patakarang “NO GRAND FIESTA BALL AND SOCIAL GATHERINGS” sa panahon ng pagdiriwang ng pista sa kani-kanilang mga barangay.

Ang hakbang na ito ay bilang suporta sa Executive Order No. 11, Series of 2026 na ipinalabas ni Mayor Septemio C. Santiago.

🎯 Layunin ng Patakaran:
1. Itaguyod ang simple at makabuluhang pagdiriwang ng pista
2. Panatilihin ang kaayusan at kapayapaan sa komunidad
3. Hikayatin ang responsable at ligtas na pagtitipon
